Will the fork and crash bar mounts with well with go pros that do not have the image stabilization, or is there too much vibration? I have a few older gopros, but they dont have built in image stabilization.

Looks like some great options. Different angles always make for a more interesting video for sure. The engine guard and fender mount are good to mix it in on video. the videos i see of some who ONLY use that angle i grow weary of...Great vid sir! MemphisMike out!

I have the chrome bars on my saddlebag lids. What mount would you recommend? I think it's about 3/8" ? I think that would be a cool angle.

How do you solve excessive vibration? I drive ATVs and vibration is crazy, what is the best solution for that? BTW Great video. Thanks
@dalexb241533 жыл бұрын
The Biker Gripper you have on your website does not have the allen screw swivel adjustment. I realize this is an old video but I would have thought the product would have either stayed the same or improved. Since there is no swivel adjustment, you have to mount the thing on the horizontal bar.

I personally ride sport bikes. I would highly suggest making a CNC machined nut so you don't have to worry about your nut stripping or the GoPro moving. I have had several of the nuts crack and I hadn't even tightened it hard. Also, I have had several of the ball systems and they move under hard breaking. Sportbikes brake harder and the plastic nuts just don't cut it. You should offer it as a option.

I know this is a couple years old, but I just got a knock off GoPro and wondering where/how to mount it to my 2015 Road King - I tried the handlebar but the windshield gets in the way - is there a front of the windshield mount? I run with a half shell so not sure if I can mount there - definitely want to get this figured out - your videos have inspired me to take some shots of my Florida adventures. Maybe the crash bar is the best way to go, but would love to get some video of the scenes on the ride a bit higher up. Thanks.

I'm using WASP cameras, first, because they are far less expensive than the GoPro, and I think they have more feature that make them easier to use. They are WIFI enabled so I can view my videos on my phone with their app. The ones I use have remote controls to operate them from my handlebars without touching the cameras. My only issue is editing. I haven't found a way to edit or add music. Is there a generic editing software that runs on either Apple or PC platforms?
@RyanUrlacher5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. FYI: GoPro is also WiFi enabled and you can view videos and photos on any smartphone with the free app. Also, I use my GoPro with my remote control. I put it on my handlebars. GoPro has free software for your editing needs and you can add music. Last, from tests, the GoPro Hero 7 Black just simply has superior video quality and image stabilization. If you just need basic footage and don't need the highest quality, then heck yah, the WASP has it's place. Just my two cents. Ride safe.

Question: when riding how long do you record for? You said you went on a 4000 plus trip how much do you actually record?
@RyanUrlacher6 жыл бұрын
Well, I'm not only using GoPros but other professional film equipment when filming documentaries or product stuff. I take a ton of footage. Hours on all my cameras. I have large RAID hard drives to store it all. Then 10% of it actually makes the cut in edit.
@mrclean28h6 жыл бұрын
Good stuff my question is the GoPro itself how do you video while riding with them? I use Contour Roma (2 ) one front and one rear battery life is great. Go Pro is better resolution but just am unsure how you turn each on while riding, may be a video to show us. Other than that excellent
@RyanUrlacher6 жыл бұрын
Some with a GoPro bluetooth wrist remote. Or you can use an Apple watch and app. Others that are close I just manually push the button. Hope this helps.
@theramblingsoflarry92906 жыл бұрын
George Smith I bought the Remo voice activated or push remote, didn’t have a lot of luck with it. I bought the WiFi remote and I turn the camera on, as I drive and want to film I push record and when i want to stop push again.

Mostly we use licensed music that we pay good money for to use in our film productions on KZbin. It’s not available to regular consumers via iTunes and Google Play etc. Nor would you want to pay the licensing prices we pay. 🤘

FWIW, I’ve found that a helmet mount works best.
@RyanUrlacher6 жыл бұрын
Good go hear from you Gary A. Although the helmet can be a good location, it's not always the best. Deciding camera placement and the angle is totally dependant on what you are trying to capture and what you are trying to portray. So, the helimet is just one of many different locations that can be used to tell a story and keep a video or film interesting. Ride safe and thanks for being part of the community here.
