The Eureka grinders are something else I am using the specialita for two years now with the single dose hopper and I get minimal to no retention Also the silver color is just a gem in the kitchen so beautiful and quiet

@@Rydecoffeecoach Hi Ryd, I saw your iterview with Laurence on the Rancilio Stile at the show and I was wondering whether you were intending to do a thorough review of this grinder and its Pros & Cons in comparison with the Eureka Specialita? I do espresso only, using medium-dark roasted beans. My preferred shot is full body and texture (syrupy) and this is where I thought the Stile might shine with its lower 1200rpm in comparison with the Specialita higher rpm although I know it's not all about the rpm. The Specialita and Niche Zero are probably my benchmarks but the Zero is very expensive. I'm also not sure about the ease of access to clean the burrs on the Stile and whether or not the Specialita is better there? I would love to get your opinion to help me decide. Cheers.

Sorry I never saw this reply until just now. Unfortunately, I have to buy all the equipment I use so I have to be careful about what items I purchase. I'd love to do a deep dive on the Stile at some point though.

Surprised they did not discuss the Libra which grinds by weight.

It was the whole reason why I watched this till I realised they didn’t include it! 😢

I got the Specialita just before the Oro single dose was announced. Thankfully the single dose hopper and bellows are able to be purchased. As I mentioned in the cafe, uncaffeinated me managed pour boiling water into the grinder that was meant for my Flair 58. Thankfully removing the burrs and a good clean restored it to working order.

So lucky it worked out Dane! Its actually a testament to the build quality of their grinders. I'm fairly sure a whiff of water near the Brevilles and sunbeam would mean goodnight, Mary! 😂

I was sceptical about the “silent” technology at first, but when I couldn’t hear the Silenzio grind a dose RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME I was instantly sold. Definitely looking forward to this years MICE to see what they have innovated since.

Yeh it's incredible when you actually compare it to other grinders.

Features and convenience aside: from a pure results in the cup point of view - is there any significant difference between the Manuale and the other models?
@Rydecoffeecoach5 ай бұрын
Good question! I think not really in terms of the actual grinding. When you get to the higher models, the burrs are different and bigger so there is a difference in the cup. Significant difference? Not to the untrained palate, no. If you're drinking with milk I think there's virtually no noticeable difference.

What about the Eureka Mignon Brew Pro?

ALL THE EUREKA GRINDERS USE THE SAME BURRS EXCEPT FOR THE 2 CHEAPEST ONES, Chrono and filtro. So buy them and upgrade the burrs and you have saved yourself 50% min.

Around 7:40 he said the "gravity" is helping us...LOL...wow, This is the result of programming. The theory of gravity in 2024 is now almost completely debunked. Well, if the brand starts getting issues with grinders, then they will easily lose their place, as other brands are already passed in tech. I enjoy mine, but I dont like that I can never get back to my previous setting when switching roasts. the dail is just not large enough to notice the amount of adjustment. I think DF has a good answer to this with the large turning settings, but , maybe Eureka will send me their test model and I can consult on this with them :-)
