An American reporter laughed at Shane Lowry when he found out he was chosen and he cried. That just added fuel to the fire.
@andrewjohnston712925 күн бұрын
That reporter sounds like a clown, and not a representation of the American contingent. I don’t blame Europe using it for motivation, but as an American I love that Lowry was moved to tears by that selection. We can only hope the Ryder Cup means half as much to our “team” of individuals.

I wrote this before me and my brothers' trip to the Ryder Cup... to be sung to the tune of "The times they are a-changin'..." Our Europe Ryder team, has GOATs in our past But don’t you worry, young talent's come fast This new team of Champions is built to last They'll rack up the birdies all day It don't matter that US have an impressive cast Europe will win at Marco Simone. Rory is our leader, the World Number 2 (...at that time) He drives it 350, and that's what he'll do While Rahmbo keeps winning and turning the screw This warrior will keep you at bay On a beautiful Sunday with the sun shining anew Europe will win at Marco Simone. Nordic minimalist, Vik Hovland is there The sound of metal's his iron through the air Tommy will beat you without messing his hair You'll be washed-out and blow-dried away He will triumph stylishly with conditioner to spare Europe will win at Marco Simone. For killing you softly, Lowry is our bet He'll wedge, putt and smile and Guinness you to death. If you prefer banter, then Europe's still set Tyrrell Hatton knows just what to say The hater of all of the spike marks he's met Will beat you at Marco Simone. Swedish Ludvig Aberg makes his debut His game is so pretty, it’s framed in the Louvre Rob McIntyre is our Scot through and through He’s so steady that he’ll make you pay With relentless attack you won’t know what to do Till Europe wins at Marco Simone 4 brothers, 4 countries, separated by sea Meeting every Ryder, traditionally There's no other place that we'd rather be Watching all of these golfers just play But our true highlight of this whole week Will be when we triumph at Simone.
