It's not just about the difficulty for big-time college coaches transitioning to the pros. Calling your coordinators and position coaches losers. Not traveling with your team after a hard loss (and spending it drinking and flirting with waitresses on camera), and demeaning (and even kicking) your players. That has no place in college either. He probably would still be successful, but just differently

The issue will always be unlike a player like LeBron who i dislike as a player , it's still clear he would be able to win a MVP in any era. Things are so different from 90's NBA to when Curry started that Curry could have been a 50% # ball shooter and he would have played a Steve Kerr type role at best for a team. Curry will be very hard to ever place on the all-time list.

I think a lot of rooting against Meyer was more that it was him. Kliff K. Got the questions but nothing much. But why would the NFL have a ton of respect of college - it’s made up of the best players who moved “up” from college. And on Steph he would score less but be a good player for sure but he would get mobbed by teams like the knicks and you really have to make your own shot.

Steph would have a hard time because in the 80s defense as they could continuously foul and push you and it would be legal. If you go to the painted lane they could just grab you and push you to the floor hard. Worse Detroit used to try and take the ball while your falling to the ground to just elbow you on the ground. Rodman used to continuously elbow MJ after every shot almost. Laimbeer used to put is foot underneath the foot of Bird when he goes for the J aiming to injure him. As Shaq said if he played in the softer era of Shaq he would have to rough him up in the paint which would be sad as these results in injuries and shorter careers

Did not have Steph's handles or range. But definitely has the release and knew how to use those picks.

Can someone make a cogent argument for Steph NOT being a top 5 player in league history? Won with KD, won and still wins without KD (and Klay), the best ever at the most integral skill in the sport, great ambassador for the game, and entirely changed the way it’s played. Is it crazy to have 1-2) MJ/Lebron, 3) Kareem, then Steph 4? Or Magic 4 Steph 5? I don’t think so, not at all. Makes sense to me actually.

He’s not a great two-way player. That’s why he’s not Top Five.

@@johnbrowntheprophet that’s it? That’s all the reasoning needed? Let’s not pretend the undisputed top 3 got there on the strength of their defense 😂 they were all so dominant in one or two particular facets of the game on offense that they both changed and single handedly overcame professional gameplanning. Steph is right behind those 3/4 I mentioned in terms of scariest matchup in NBA history, and he’ll be scary for as long as he can stand and move his right arm. That’s more important to me than the two-way conversation.

@@stephenhelmeci328 "scariest match up" is completely subjective. But even if I accept that standard, you'd rather face prime Shaq than prime Steph? That's insane. It's silly to rank current players against all time greats. Their story is incomplete. That said, Magic and Bird literally saved the league. Magic has 5 rings to Steph's 3. 3 regular season MVPs to Steph's 2. 3 finals MVPs to Steph's 0. I can go on listing Magic's resume, but you get the point.

Come on, we all know you don’t watch NBA games 🤣. Your NBA takes suggestions that you just go by what’s popular during the moment 🤷🏾‍♂️. So big up to your researcher

He was given total control. So he brought in players. It was not about them losing. It was all the other stuff. They man was lying about not knowing about James Robinson being benched when he was the one who benched him!
