I didn't see a lot of people putting forward serious and complete theories for this. I feel like we're starting to flip over all the stones left in FNAF Security Breach but the missing children / people one is one that has been too big for me up until now. I feel really good about this, we'll, as far as a theory about five nights at Freddy's can be lol

I am unsure if Jeremy was a missing resident actually. He might have been a jab at the OG Jeremy. Considering Susie missing her dog, Charlie being locked outside, Cassidy/Andrew maybe not being a saint in life, Fritz likely seeing - and Foxy definitely seeing - the other already dead children, and the fact Baby was made to kill only when alone with a single child, as well as the Lonely Freddys, I think it is children who are ripe for the picking and least likely to be missed, have evidence against William, or have some sort of tragic backstory or lure to get them away from other people, that lends them to being picked off. It isn't isolated to just Security Breach as a method or pattern of killing. Also, on that note: Do you have any theories on whether or not any possessed Animatronics' behavior reflects how the kids died, or maybe why the abilities carry over? Like Foxy/Roxy/Funtime Foxy is always based on sight. Chica/Toy Chica/Glamrock Chica always seems to lose her beak, Bonnie/Toy Bonnie is incredibly frequent to attack or is mischievous such as with BonBon? Considering Fazbear Entertainment reused a ton over the years, I don't feel surprised that Foxy and Roxy see through things others can't. I mean, same with Moon and the Puppet. Perhaps Fritz and Charlie, having seen William, obtained the ability to see through disguises in death. The S.T.A.F.F. bots may be Puppet-like, but Sun/Moon is clearly the future Puppet in terms of design. Roxy is clearly the current version of Foxy, despite Foxy being a possible later addition that the company was going to add. Funtime Foxy is filled with remnant and designed with sight based capture capabilities. Actually, the suit that Micheal was put in was I think Funtime Puppet (being a parallel to Charlie as Micheal was trying to save everyone else). If this theming is as intentional as I think, a ton of the stuff we see throughout the games can be tied back to the original victims. The Lonely Freddys themselves are either tied to, or are modelled after Evan's Fredbear Plush. However, they are clearly a twisted version that gives Afton more possible remnant to work with in the books. A lot just ties together, loosely, but still together.

FNAF hasn't entered that kind of horror yet

Security breach defiantly had some plot points that needed to be filled. I think there should be an additional office space after the daycare thing. maybe a tape recorder that talk about police investigation with the manager about the missing children. If Vanny would have attack Gregory again, perhaps before he decides to grab a flashing weapon again it would have fit a bit more better as Freddy will actually have a better reason to believe his friends are acting strange. I feel that adding some of these things can the story a bit smoother.

The epilogue of the first book did show a construction team dying. They found an old animatronic suit when they were clearing rubble underneath Roxy Raceway and thought they could program the animatronic to clear the path for them. (The book is very vague about what the animatronic looks like, but a few of us are theorizing it to be Glamrock Freddy or perhaps Burntrap.) The robot misunderstands it's reprogramming, and sees the construction workers "in the way" and kills them to "clear the path" That's the only Pizzplex-related story so far, since the rest don't even take place in the pizzaplex but it is interesting.

Also though I would add in the dilevery truck dropping off the Animatronic that kills the workers, the glamrocks are also there and they mention all the glamrocks being in really good condition, and then one being messed up and in really bad condition, the interesting thing is when one of the workers sees this Animatronic they say that there gonna need a new guitarist, which makes me think the beat up animatronic they are talking about is glamrock bonnie, as he was presumably replaced by Monty, also a guitarist

The epilogue wasn't exactly like that. The construction team were building the Pizzaplex and a truck came with the animatronics for the Pizza Place, that they were going to turn in a museum, along with a rare endoskeleton (Burntrap). So, an employee, Gil, programs the endo to make the job of disassemble endos of the Pizza Place and leave them in a pile. But the endo begins to tore the workers's limbs, killing them. 11 dead workers made in a pile. One, Danny, escapes and makes the entrance to the Pizza Place be sealed with cement. Also, the story Under Construction takes place in the Pizzaplex of SB, but its so different bc the Tales were written in 2019 and the design of the Pizzaplex in that time was supposed to be a circular shape.

I think if we merge the afton ending and the escape ending together, it would tie in perfectly with the Ruin DLC if we look at the teaser.

That's my thinking, like everyone saying it has to be the afton ending because the buildings in ruin. But like, unless we're not seeing the whole picture Gregory and Freddy make it out. Why would Gregory need help? or that's just a ploy by vanny to get someone in?

Interestingly enough, although the Pizzaplex obviously does have managers, they're not mentioned at all during the game outside of the collectible messages. They don't seem to be very fair towards their employees, seeing as they scheduled an All Staff Meeting for 11:30 PM, an extremely inconvenient time, and they laid off their security guards without a forethought once the S.T.A.F.F. Bots were completed. Their reports seem to indicate that they've been there for some time, so I don't think they were ever attacked by Vanny.

The management must know about Glitchtrap and Vanny. They have to be too dumb to let so many things slide. Building on top of an old pizzeria, which might collapse due to the sinkhole, getting ready to fire Jeremy for reporting a Glitchtrap, hiring Vanessa who doesnt have any background or experience as a security guard, which is heavily implied on the messages, scanning Glitchtrap into basically everything. Its too many coincidences

@@migasgt638 Actually, I would argue that they very well could be coincidences. Vanessa's hiring was done by Corporate, not management. In fact, one of the managers questions the company's judgement in hiring someone so unqualified. Also, it's very possible that the managers wouldn't know about the sinkhole, and in fact, it's very rare that managers oversee the construction of the building in any capacity. As for Jeremy, the VR Project likely had different management (people slid in there by corporate itself) than the Pizzaplex.

I would have love it if steal wool put in some sort of tape or some sort of audio about the missing people. if we can get Gregory and Freddy to react to it, then it can tie up with the line near the end about missing people. ideally having Freddy and Greg mention it twice would really hit home. another encounter with vanny to really show how dangerous this place it.

Another one of the duffle bag messages that I think is worth mentioning is one titled "It's Happening Again." It’s a customer complaint where somebody asks why the PizzaPlex has reopened considering "everyone remembers what happened to those kids." To me this implies that once again a Freddy Fazbear's location has children that are going missing, hence the title of the note.

The first epilogue of those Pizza Plex books is about the construction team finding the Fnaf 6 Pizzeria and apparently, someone sent Springtrap to them. Who kills a bunch of workers. Here's the summary for the first epilogue, taken from the Fnaf: The Novel Wikia website: A large crew of workers are tasked with emptying out an old Freddy's restaurant and beginning construction for Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. The plan was to remodel the old place into a museum directly above the Pizzaplex. While construction workers began building up the Pizzaplex's exterior framing, the renovation crew were tasked with emptying out the pizzeria. One of those reno team members was Gil, who wanted to be a part of the company's tech team, only to be shunted with everyone else in excavation. Gil was partnered up with Danny, as they grabbed the animatronic endoskeletons strewn throughout the abandoned restaurant and put them into a pile. Theo and Bryce see a delivery truck pulling up to the site. The new animatronics for the pizzeria were being delivered. After signing the paperwork, the two checked up on the new arrivals. While all the other animatronics were in mint condition, one of them (the guitarist) was broken and discolored, with its rabbit ears being the only distinguishable feature remaining. Gil, while on break, noticed the damaged robot and took interest in it. He snuck into the bottom of the truck to take the dismantled model. Theo notices, but Gil gives him an angry glare, intimidating him into silence. Carlo noticed Gil tinkering with the animatronic and asked what he was up to. He simply promised that what he was doing would help them get the endoskeletons out of the pizzeria. Gil decides to use his programming skills to the test, linking its systems with his laptop in an attempt to add a "clean-up protocol" into its systems. Danny, Carlo and another worker named Owen arrive to see Gil's work. As Gil turns the animatronic on, its white eyes turned orange and the robot flatly requested instructions. Gil tasked the machine with breaking off the heads and limbs of all the endoskeletons and casting them into a pile. After briefly scanning the area, the animatronic complies. It breaks the heads and arms of the endoskeletons with ease. As Gil congratulates himself on his work, the animatronic grabs onto him and breaks his arms off. Pools of blood splatter all over as Gil screamed in agony, only to be silenced as the robot ripped his head from his shoulders. The animatronic was set on breaking the limbs and heads of anything it sees. All the other workers in the building ran for their lives to the only exit but are blocked by other workers entering into the building after hearing Gil's screams. A bloodbath ensued. The robot tore apart the workers, with blood and sliced-off arms flowing everywhere. The only person to come out unscathed was Danny as he ran past the construction site, pleading for a construction worker on a cement truck to seal off the old pizzeria's only exit.

So the newspaper would not talk about something that happened years ago. The missing residence that are talked about are likely from the past few weeks

I do think that Moon was still a regular version of the animatronic before tampering. Clearly Sun isn't 100% corrupted, and seems to be aware enough about the kidnapping that he tries to avoid it actively. And I suspect Freddy is, too. I know you said Foxy was scheduled to be a new attraction, but it would have been cool if he was in the finished game. Perhaps he was meant to be originally, at least during development, but because of the struggles of trying to program such a big development, it was too taxing and had to be cut. But having the location available and changed to be a casing of interest is cool. Also, the reaction of people dying when getting too close to the truth also has it's own layer. In Fazbear Frights, several employees tend to know about how bad Fazbear entertainment is, and either don't care or go along with it. Now, by Security Breach it does seem that most do not know anything, but considering how Fazbear Entertainment was built around tragedies, it isn't surprising that some employees were hired because they were twisted enough to not care or revel in the misery spread. Henry in particular is, as far as I am aware, doesn't fully know or at least is in such a depressed state (or was arrested or tried to end himself earlier depending on the timeline or theory), that he wasn't able to or wasn't in a good mindset to end the madness until FNAF 6. He is to blame a bit for the horrible stuff, but William and the Franchisees are way worse. Sorry I lost my point and just wanted.

A couple of clarifications: 1. While Vaness's transfer takes her away from the care facility, it should be noted that the other patient has been caught on security cameras at the MegaPizzaPlex, as mentioned in the last CD. So we know the facility can't be _too_ far away. 2. Another reason to suspect the all-staff meeting is the start time -- 11:30 p.m. Remember what happens at midnight? 3. Given that we know "Burntrap" was reconstructed using Glamrock Bonnie, it's actually unlikely that he contains Afton. 4. For a scary thought, consider this: Vanessa is not the one in charge. Neither is Vanny. Whoever's in charge approved Vanessa's job application over lower management's objections.

2:23, Staff Bot even mentioned the name Jeremy. Counting this one segment, the name Jeremy has been used 5 times. There is something that you missed. There is a duffle bag that's titled and reads, "IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN": CUSTOMER COMPLAINT - Why did you reopen? Everyone remembers what happened to those kids. This could be a callback to the original 5 missing kids back in the 80s, which shows that some people haven't forgotten about it, as well as a few of the pictures in the newspaper look similar to some of the missing kids in the 80s. I agree with this theory. Workers and therapists getting too close to the truth about Burntrap and are disposed of to hide the plan and make William stronger. Moon being a creation of Glitchtrap/Vanny to collect remanent for Burntrap's body. This feels highly plausible, if not correct.

One thing you forgot to mention is way back when the original teasers for Monty, Roxanne, & Chica came out on Scott games people noticed there was usually one audience memember more detailed then the rest and we all assumed they were going to possess said animatronic. Those same 3 slightly detailed people are also seen on the newspaper.

That would actually make a lot of sense. When I first saw it I wondered why such a large area looked trashed and in such a mess if it was meant to be a staff cafeteria then why did it look like it hadn't been used in months? But that would perhaps make sense if that was to do with the all staff meeting. Still it seems rather odd considering that it doesn't appear to be locked off either. If there was a mass murder in the room, you'd think Fazbear Entertainment would decide to seal it up to prevent anyone from going in there. I suppose I might just be overthinking things but I did wonder why such a big area looked so abandoned in such a populated area, unlike in Roxy Raceway or the basement/sewer areas where hardly anyone goes anymore.

The newspaper also says that residents CONTINUE to go missing, meaning there could even be more than 9. Also it doesn't say they all went missing at the Pizzaplex, because it's true, in that cutscene Vanny was OUTSIDE of the building and hunted Gregory in the alley.

It could also be a double meaning meting. Firstly, to fire everyone and secondly, to make sure to check if anyone knows too much so they can also be disposed off. In case someone might know something or is likely to go to the authorities or newspapers, you can tell them they have to come in to finish something off or ask them for a moment alone

Killing the entire staff would be hard to cover up, but firing everyone helps to cover up the few murders that are ‘required’, because no one is going to notice coworkers are missing if they aren’t going to work anymore. Even if some were friends, Vanny/Glitchtrap/etc can impersonate people through text or email, and “lost job, have to move” is a perfect reason for someone to not be seen in town anymore.

Seeing as the meeting took place half an hour to midnight, there's a chance that the service team may have made it out. They're a band of adults, so it's not a 1-on-1 like with the therapists, and they aren't up against a giant beast like the construction team. My main evidence is that the staff areas near the kitchen are Trashed with a capital T. And if a band of adults were all suddenly sacked and shoved in a situation they know may kill them, who cares if the former employer may try and sue. And it's not like it'd be the first time someone's gone fisticuffs against the robots and won (John and Charlie on multiple occasions). Also, maybe the staff used the animatronics weaknesses against them, hence why the message about 'if chica gets trash compacted again it's coming out your pay' is there. Perhaps the reason Leo hasn't been heard from is because he went into witness protection. I'm guessing the guy who got fired for not being able to cook chicken Alfredo saw it as a blessing in disguise. Instead of thinking in a binary of 'present or dead', maybe thinking in between will draw some more conclusions about the staff by using the state of the Pizzaplex.

@@RyeToast I even saw a theory that The Crying Child is named Jeremy. Jeremy possessed Bonnie, lost his face in Fnaf 2. That counts as a head trauma. Jeremy the Security Guard is the most likely victim of the bite of 87, since the Toys hate adults and Phone Guy instructed Jeremy to stay close to them during the day People suspect VR Jeremy ripped his own face off, another type of injury in his head. Therefore, The Crying Child is called Jeremy Afton, because he also got a get trauma. Jokes aside, Jeremy comes from Jeremiah, a biblical name, and Scott is a christian, so maybe it's just that? I don't know.

There's a lot of good points in here, but I think they actually point to something RyeToast himself brought up in an earlier video, Afton, in any form, is no longer the mastermind behind what's going on. There's lore drops, infrequent and often hard to find, that point to someone at the top of the company pulling the strings to make these things happen. Maybe the CEO? Why would the CEO do things like this that could only sabotage his own company? That makes no sense. Unless he's doing something more profitable then running an entertainment company. Fist, the evidence that Afton's no longer the main villain. Someone at the top pulls strings in Help Wanted, as we find out from Tape Girl, to that Afton's data scanned into the VR game in the first place. When one or more people (Vanessa and Tape Girl for sure) fall under the influence of Glitchtrap, the CEO's manufactured virus form of Afton, one of them at least, Vanessa, is positioned by the CEO in 2 key roles in the company. First working in Special Delivery on that project, and then it gets infected with a virus, and Vanessa, according to the Retro CDs that seem to take place around that time, is the prime suspect. They seem to have a good IT team on that project that managed to detect the presence if not the full nature of Glitchtrap pretty fast. Given the opportunity, they probably could have worked out how to defeat the sentient virus. But they don't get the time, everything's shut down without warning according to the FNAF AR emails. Vaness, as I said, is the prime suspect, hacking into and infecting company systems with a virus ought to be more then enough cause to fire her. Yes she's not fired, she's given a promotion, to a postion she has no experience in, a position that gives her very high level security clearances and investitive power over security matters in the Pizzaplex, filling the vacant Security Manager position. An assignment that was done over the objections of local management, who wanted to hire someone with large venue security experience. Who could pull such strings in the company other then someone like the CEO. In Help Wanted, Glitchtrap acts in control of everything, yet by SB, we barely see any signs of him doing anything other then stuff that doesn't quite fit the Afton MO. I submit that the CEO found a way to get to Afton's Glitchtrap form during the events of FNAF AR, and now is in control of Glitchtrap, who's doing the CEO's bidding, I submit that the CEO knows how to delete any copy of Glitchtrap that's on the FE system at any time, and used FNAF AR to let Glitchtrap know this. The CEO wants people, and does not care too much about age, or maybe even wants a variety of ages, to do something, and wants the people alive. The Pizzaplex is a useful venue to find targets, but most don't actually disappear AT the pizzaplex. They're taken off the street. If they were going missing at the Pizzaplex directly, as Rye correctly points out, the headline would include the Pizzaplex in it, as being directly linked to the disappearances. The actual kidnappings are residents being snatched off the street and taken to the Pizzaplex to await transport to another location. Why? The most ligical reason, a reason that could produce profits that would far outweigh anything they could squeeze out of running the Pizzaplex legitimately, is experimenting on Remnant and Agony, as a means to develop longevity treatments for the elites, the ultra wealthy and powerful. Technology like that could be worth 100s of billions over a span of decades! Where does Burntrap fit in? Afton's virus does not want to be a pawn existing only on the sufferance of the CEO - he wants to be in charge. He's a control freak. He has Vanny secretly reconstruct Burntrap as an escape plan for Afton's Glitchtrap form.

Also should I mention that in one of the party rooms, plushies of the GlamRocks are seated in a chairs while a Monty plushie is place in a box with its lid open….like the puppet. I know it’s odd to over think that but I always get a bad feeling in that party room. Also by the way, one of the messages said something about someone disappearing after going to ask the creepy bot aka sun about something, I suspect MoonDrop. Should I also mention that if you go to the daycare and where the slide is, there’s are purple chairs….SIX….and one of them is knocked over….I know it’s sounds silly fuzzing over chairs but when I look at it, I think missing kids…..maybe the knocked over chair represents a kid that went missing. Also if you take a look at the other 6 tables in the daycare, they have number 6 on them and The SIXTH one is knocked….I think missing kids?

Saying "Local Residents" to indicate this news is only covering people local to that county, and that they're "residents" which implies of all ages, not just kids.

Regarding to this matter, I've seen very few people talk about this? Sometimes as you walk through the pizzaplex, you may hear some strange noises, eerie and unsettling crying kind of noises. At first, you might think it's Roxy crying, probably that's why everybody just ignored it. But when you hear it again and actually pay close attention to it you'll realize it's not Roxy, it can't be Roxy. Why tf would you hear Roxy through the walls and ceilings? May I also add that you could hear these sounds in the beginning of the game, long before we tear Roxy's face up, so it can't be her. Besides, if you listen closely these crying tend to sound less like Roxanne and more like children crying. These sounds are most common in the fazcade security office and sometimes in the elevators. These strange noises are so creepy, probably the creepiest I've ever hear in my entire life.

Honestly, when the game first came out and I saw the All Staff Meeting note I just sorta assume they all got murked. Why else would so many employee specific rooms be in the state we see? Specifically, I'm thinking about the staff cafeteria with the tables thrown all over the place. We know Fazbear Entertainment managed to cover up dozens of security guard deaths, so I never really questioned them killing Pizzaplex staff. I also wanna bring attention to another specific employee that got too close, aka the one that desperatly tired to play all 3 Princess Quest games. If they played through the first two they might realise something was up with Glitchtrap and were killed for that reason

I agree with your theory about adults disappearing, but I disagree on the part of missing children disappearing. While for the adults disappearing we have more or less nine explicit examples (That is exactly the number of people portrayed to be disappeared on the news paper) for the kids we just have one that is very vague, what happened is that the kid saw Moon malfunctioning and got creeped out, if the kid saw Moon kidnap children he would have probably told his parents or at least got more traumatized than keeping the light while sleeping. An other point I disagree with is the part of the Remenant to Burntrap brought by Vanny. Why would Burntrap, who is completely made of Afton’s agony, need Remnant in the first place? Wouldn’t somebody else’s Remnant weaken the Agony part of Afton and make the other person’s Remnant stronger? I still believe that Glitchtrap, who is control of Vanny, just wanted Burntrap to take control of the Blob so that Afton’s Agony can control all the other Agony and become stronger.

Great theory i think you nailed it with the information you had at the time. Additionally now that we have two instances of the tales from the pizzaplex we are starting to see a series similar to the stitchwraith play out where a bunch of people are locked in with an intelligent and murderous animatronic. I personally believe that this is to hint towards the all staff meeting and would be very excited if we see a tftp confirm the all staff meeting was a way to eliminate the remainder of the fazbear workforce. Or alternatively, possibly through tapes or collectibles we may see this pan out in the ruin dlc, where a room full of employees are locked in with a single dangerous animatronic (likely possessed by glitchtrap or william) al la dangonronpa.

i’ve read the first tales from the pizzaplex book. in one of the stories, the main character presumably gets stuck in an ar booth and doesn’t know that what she’s going through isn’t real. i know it’s a long shot, but maybe something similar could be what’s happening to the kids?

All newborn babies don't look like humans, they are called " jelly people ". She gets "attacked"/ crushed by them. I should also mention, that during whole story, after she put on the headset, she feels headache. I really recommend you these books, they are terryfing and weird.

I have a strange(and super confusing) theory: what if vanny and Vanessa are the same person and different people, basically what if vanny was a living corpse or a ghost being controlled by William afton and is slowly hacking and controlling Vanessa making her more and more connected to Vanessa until she looks like her and can hear her thoughts and can control her brain and body. Similar to the concept in hide and seek the third short story in the sixth fazbear frights book named blackbird. a shadow bonnie sews and attaches themselves to the protagonist, vanny could be doing this to vannessa

I have something I think you should look into, Nightmarrione. I think that the crying child post it notes and afton family hints in the staff bot silo might be hinting that Nightmarrione is the crying child, and that afton and by extension vanny were trying to get him into the staff bots. Hence why they painted so many hundreds of bots to resemble it, And by the sounds of it they succeeded. More hints of Nightmarrione being present are A: some hidden nightmarrione plushies throughout the environments B: the collectible plushie in the Golden gift box suggesting its important Nightmarrione has always been associated with the afton household and has appeared every game since UCN (except AR) so he's clearly important.
