Rykard, I discovered your song when I was a truck driver traveling the United States, and when I moved into an office job and had a daughter, it became the only song that would calm her without fail on long car rides. Your music has been the soundtrack of a blossoming life. Your work is important and is a treasure.

I think there’s a handful of us that have literally listened to this song thousands of times. The record version is amazing, but this live version just hits different. Rykard is one of the best to ever do it ❤

This song (especially as recorded on the album) is one of the most perfect pieces of music I have ever heard in my life.

First heard this song in my early 50's, I'm now in my late 50's. Still as awesome as it was way back then.

I remember when my History teacher first introduced me to this song when I was 13. I fell in love with it and the others in the album (Sky at Walton being my close second). I always use these songs to chill out before a big test or a big game. Has gotten me out of some pretty big funks Thank you Rykard. Here’s to more years of your excellent music

One of the most hauntingly beautiful albums. Masterfully created pads, and the exquisite drum patterns filled with small nuances and details. True masterpiece!!!! Sky At Walton will always be one of my favourite tracks ever to exist. Thanks, Rich.

Rykard!! I deeply admire you. I first heard North Cormorant Obscurity at a time of deep self internalization and overcoming loneliness (I was 18... 23 now). Your music has brought me to a place I describe as dark, lonely... and comforting. I consider Ictis to be a sort of follow up to this song. I see Ictis as the looking forward or moving on to the dog days to come. I love to meditate or practice yoga to your work as well. Thank you for creating and sharing with the world. - Jason

I’ve had better vibes from this song than any drug I ever took and I took some drugs.
