Someone did warn her. Kendall warned her. Annie warned her. Everyone and I do mean everyone tried to tell that girl how this story ends but she didn't want to see it. Ryan and Greenlee will never truly belong to anyone but each other. It doesn't matter what they say their actions scream soulmates!

When you watch this storyline you can tell that she saw all the signs and was given more than enough warning to know better. I hated that they gave Ryan's child to Madison. I also hated the way they chose to handle that storyline. They had a perfect opportunity to really play on the history there and blew it.

They really should have given Greenlee a miracle baby instead. They had more than enough time to work it into the show before the finale. Greenlee telling Spike that she didn't need kids because she had him and Emma seemed like such a cop-out.

I hate to respectfully disagree. Don't get me wrong I hate that Greenlee never got to have a child of her own and definitely would have loved for her to be able to have had one, but I admire her for being able to love and appreciate Emma and Spike without resenting them. It takes a very strong and special kind of woman to do that, knowing she will never be able to have the child she dreamed of. It didn't feel like a copout to me. Honestly the entire last year really just seemed like a mess to me. They never seemed to actually know where they were going with anything they just kept building arcs up and hoping a satisfying resolution would appear (which of course it never did) The fans, characters, and actors deserved so much more!

You're right. It was great that Greenlee loved Ryan's children as her own, but I feel like the writers painted Greenlee into a corner that they could have just as easily written her out of. Greenlee could love Spike and Emma and have love for her own baby as well, but we'll never get to see that. I guess I'm just still bitter that the show made Greenlee having a child such a big deal for so long and then never fulfilled that promise. Even as late as 2009 they were still bringing it up when Ryan and Greenlee talked about adoption. To get nothing in the end...sigh. I try to not think about the last year of the show too much. lol There are still episodes from the last couple of months of its run that I haven't seen. I loved Ryan and Greenlee, but the show wasn't very good and their story wasn't any better.
