Great review. I have the brad nailer and staple guns and love them. I need this one to complete my cordless Home Performance and finish carpentry business. I bought the stapler for stringing insulation which is a very intensive job. I used 1 of 4 bars on the battery for the whole house, worked perfect every shot! And saved 1.5 hours labor time from not having to set up a compressor and hose. My solar system just keeps all my batteries charged all the time.

Just ordered one, and a box of 2.5"nails. Should be here tomorrow. As a DIYer who will only use this on occasional projects, I hope to use it in lieu of a framer., which I can't justify for the rare times I need a framer gun. The nails will cosr a little more and shorter nails may be harder to find.
@michaelwilkens68655 жыл бұрын
Not sure if they redesigned it, but now you CAN install the belt clip on the other side of the tool for right-handed people. There is a spot on the magazine to screw the belt clip onto the left side of the tool for easy clipping to your belt with your right hand.

My biggest concern with these is their size... the pneumatic guns are significantly smaller. In tight areas, i'm afraid my investment will be null. Good review!! I'm not one of those tool snobs who thinks Ryobi doesn't deserve a look. Good review, I liked to see the firing performance. However I don't like the delay, I have a 18 ga nailer with a similar delay and it is annoying, it is much easoier to set nails properly without that delay. So I will stick with my small portable air compressor and finish nailer.
@jacklucas72658 жыл бұрын
How does it do on hardwoods? Doing finish work on an older house where the Douglas fir or Southern yellow pine has -dried and hardened up is like driving in to hardwoods. Testing on a fresh semi dry piece of 2x4 isn't much of a test.

which one can i use to put pine slats on a wood fence,... i bought the 18g brad nailer...
@wabug84236 жыл бұрын
Hi there , so i have this nailer (Ryobi p330) and im getting a second dent in the wood just below where the nail has been driven. It is a small horizontal rectangle no bigger than the nail hole itself. It started doing it about halfway up a 10 ft wall that i am nailing shiplap onto. I called ryobi and she had me decrease the air pressure and then put it back up but not all the way. I didnt see much improvement. She said if that didnt fix it i woud have to take in for service. Is this user error or do you of something else in nail guns that may cause this?

Not to be picky but the battery was installed, the gun was loaded and your finger was on the trigger at 4:20 when you put your hand in front of the nailer to remove the tip. Not prudent.
@ToolCraze8 жыл бұрын
If you ever try one of these out, you'll find out that you have to press the tip firmly to fire the nailer. Had I pushed the tip into the gun with my hand while removing the tip, then we'd have something to worry about. Thanks for the concern though
