Thank you for a great demo on how these two like items compare!!! Best review I have found yet!!! I like how you made a line with the turbo nozzle then went over it with the surface cleaner so your viewers can see the difference w the surface cleaner on the 1600.

Outstanding comparison! I have a 1600 and wondered whether or not I should have bought a more powerful version. Very happy now with the 1600. Already have the surface cleaner, a great accessory, and now need a third-party 50' long, 3/8" diameter hose (more flexible!) and some quick connectors. Many thanks, you saved me a bunch of money! :-)

Yeah, I tried a couple other 2300s from other brands with about the same results, one was even weaker than the 1600 Ryobi laughably. The 2700 & now 3000psi Greenworks electric pressure washers on the other hand are noticeably more powerful.

I know I am late in viewing this, but I just wanted to say I am thankful for coming upon it. I am in the market for a pressure washer, and I have been contemplating the surface cleaner (SC) attachment. Your video has helped confirm things for me. I know some have thought that the SC was great to start with because they felt it was so much quicker - but then discovered dirt would clog it up quickly and it would need frequent cleaning to open it back up for use. I personally am not impressed with how many times you still have to go over the same spot with the SC (with both the 1600 and the 2300), and I'm not loving the large amount of water puddling. Thanks for posting your video - it's appreciated! 👍

I just bought the 2300 version to do some pressure washing mainly for my driveway. I also bought the surface cleaner which was absolutely garbage. That thing kept leaving streaks all over the place even though I was doing slow passes each time. I ended up using the turbo nozzle which did an excellent job. I don't think the turbo nozzle took any extra time simply because I would have had to make a ridiculous amount of passes with the surface cleaner to get the same results as I did with the turbo nozzle. I was very happy to return the surface cleaner.

U don't have to make all those passes if u move slower and give the pressure washer time to clean the dirt. U get streaks by going bak and forward over the sections like that.

I prefer to use my SJ SPX 3200 with 2030PSI with the GW Surface Cleaner. I bought the Ryobi Surface Cleaner from HD but due to the reviews I returned it without trying it. The Greenworks Surface Cleaner is 11”’s so I don’t think it’s a big difference between the two however the GW usually cleans on the first or second pass at the most.

@@Gfysimpletons I haven't done any measured experiments, but just visually it looks like the double nozzle surface cleaner uses a lot more water regardless whether it's on the 1600 or 2300. That seems to be a common complaint with the surface cleaner.

you moving to fast and plus the ryobi surface cleaner fills up with water under it therefore making water layer that the jets have to break through before hitting the actual surface that your cleaning other than with the turbo nozzle it pushes the water away making it easier to connect with the surface that you are clean that why it look like the bigger one took longer becuz it create more water for the jets to break through than the smaller

Any business tips? I have a 4400 PSI 4GPM pressure washer right now. I rent a UHaul truck to move it around but it's costly. I'm going to buy the 1600 PSI pressure washer for free samples since it's so portable. This will remove the costs of the UHaul truck. I'll schedule paid work for a particular day, filling up the day with paid work. Then renting the UHaul knowing that I'm going to make profit that day.
