Don't have to use turbo all the time if you are pushing leaves instead of boxes. I use the ultra-quiet 600 CFM 55 decibel model for a daily sweep/touch-up of my yard on a low setting. I wanted something that won't irritate my neighbors if I use it daily versus the times I use my backpack blower.

I had no leaves for the test, sure understood no turbo but the other blower does not have a turbo so testing both was full power to both

Just used mine to blow all the leaves from my maple tree... pair it with the backpack power supply and it does an amazing job

You have a absolutely gorgeous yard... your grass is so lusciously green.... and that pool is beautiful. I have this blower, I only purchased it a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I sold my old petrol (gas) Dolmar blower last week for aud$30... that petrol blower was a beast, but was leaking fuel everywhere when I put the petrol in it, plus it was about 20years old (maybe older). I got sick of the start up procedure just to get that started. This Ryobi blower is sooo much quicker and has more guts than that petrol blower.

Thank you for the kind words Brett, Ryobi is good no questions just wish all manufacturers would put the cfm and air speeds as a chart knowing if you want more cfm it comes as a sacrifice in the airspeed

You can't judge a blower by blowing a box across the yard they're not made to do that. Tested on some leaves wet leaves eccetera then you're really going to get an idea of how they work. I think you're a little over critical of this tool. If you want the best of the best you probably should have bought the STIHL battery operated blower. Don't get caught up with the numbers.

I love my Ryobi 40V outdoor tools (including this blower), but I'd be the first to say that for commercial use, it's probably not going to make it in the long run, especially if you employ workers to use this equipment. Stihl makes equipment that I understand will do better in commercial settings, but here's where your Stihl blower (IMHO) fails to compete with this Ryobi blower: it's much louder, and needs a constant supply of gasoline to run (and leaves you engulfed in its fumes). And don't forget about the engine maintenance gas blowers require. As such, for a weekend warrior, the battery powered Ryobi beats the Stihl hands down. And if you own other Ryobi 40V tools, you'll have more than adequate battery power. But if you're using this on 8 or more properties per day, gasoline power might be your only practical alternative.

Agree to some extent, commercially gas powered equipment are the desired performance. However, the industry is leaning towards battery, and gasoline equipment will be the thing of the past. I have switched all of my equipment to battery, including the blowers.I have chosen stihl as the equipment is designed for commercial applications. Ryobi is not there yet for the comerical guy, for homeowners, sure.

I had to laugh when you said "the industry is leaning towards battery," since for the most part that leaning is virtually with a gun to their heads (like in commie Kalifornia and dozens of 'blue' cities), since they've been banned. Having gone to battery outdoor equipment quite some time ago for DIY purposes, I've seen substantial progress on the power they can reliably supply over many years, but gas power is still vastly superior and more long term (although nonetheless a juicy and easy target for the greenies who are looking for any accomplishments they can claim, regardless of whether they actually accomplish any real good). And as to Ryobi ever getting to be ready for commercial use? You can forget about it, since TTI (it's parent) has stratified their product line, with other names being much sturdier (and usually more expensive).@@CityScapesLawnCare

@@CityScapesLawnCare I've been using the Greenworks products for 2 years now and it's been a game changer for me don't ever plan to buy another gas edger again. Just purchased the Hart reciprocating saw last week will see how productive this is🤔

Those are the max numbers without regard to each other, given about 21.7 N (Newtons) of force, which is what this model Ryobi measures in at. It is by the way, one of the more powerful powerful battery blowers, in terms of Newtons on the market. The latest EGO 765 has a whopping 26 N of force, ouch.

13 minutes is not bad. Non stop turbo. You will be going up and down on the speed not just full blast non stop. So I say about 20 minutes of realistic run time.
@CityScapesLawnCare

Basically still having to keep at least one gas blower handy because these batteries blowers don't give you enough run time I can make you on my battery lawn mower within the front time but the blowers always seem to use up more of the battery then the lawn mowers do that's what I found
@CityScapesLawnCare
@CityScapesLawnCare Жыл бұрын
Battery blowers use a lot of energy therefore needs bigger batteries, bigger batteries is additional weight. To keep the weight down is small batteries less runtime.

There is no battery blower for commercial use . Still no company has come out with one for commercial use . Yes battery equipment is coming with longer run time but not my much.

Stihl had the BGA86 is for commercial use. This is what I have and is compared to the Stihl 86 gas blower. I can get about 8-9 yards done on one battery with this one

My thoughts for battery...this blower comes with 2 if you buy another tool it will be a high percentage chance that it will come with one. I look at batteries as gas, you will have to refuel eventually. So if you have 3 to 4 batteries that'll keep cycling depending on your use. Will it be a hassle for commercial use? I'm not sure. But they do tend to average around 25-30mins runtime in most tools. I enjoy them on my yard. They really are convenient. I started with battery and never went back to gas.

Hands down the best real review I have came across on this product. Don't get me wrong I like Ryobi products but they hype these things up for sure.

I was hoping it was real as the box info said we would get. It is good for the home owner but now for the pros. I went with stihl blower and will have a review out shortly. I hate reviews when ppl are sponsored, can’t get the true feelings on the product.

i feel like the whole Power vs CFM is a pretty known fact, at least if you do any kind of research wether it be written review or youtybe video. spending that much money i dont think id blindy just buy something like that without looking into it at least a little. All companies are guilty of listing the most impressive numbers around and perhaps let the customer assume they are getting those numbers both at once. Phone companies are the worst, they will say X phone will fully charge in X time or 0-50% in X time, even thou after that it will slow down dramictly because its gotten hot and needs to cool down durring the rest of the chrge (they will list whatever happens to be the most impressive numbers)

That's a disappointing part I live on a corner house so I've got a lot of sidewalk in the front and side that's not accounting my front yard and backyard so I have quite a bit of blowing to do since I do a lot of edging on the front and side of the property One battery won't do it for me so these companies are just getting more Rich but having people invest in more batteries I wish someone would come out with a battery that's not so heavy and able to give you more run time than what we have right now on all these different brands
