ive actually been waiting for this cant wait till i can grab one this can be perfect for at home electrical work like fixing consoles or my pc taking apart tools to repair or maintenance them the uses definitely are worth the price

This is their best light yet, great for my bench cleaning guns, building RC cars and airplanes. Bought a second one for my wife’s sewing table. Get one!

Looks like a really useful tool. Take a 2x4 cutoff to use as a counterbalance if you need to extend the arm fully.

1:30 Wish I had of purchased the bench light FIRST because I would of NEVER bought another type / style, it is SO VERSATILE, when the lights are out in Florida when it is completely open it stands perfectly almost waist length & I can just grab the little catch at the end to tote it, it's light, and this would be EXCELLENT for a wheel chain bound individual

Seems like a great light For my needs it’s perfect. I can sandwich a small piece of wood to make it clamp to my computer desk better. Using the Ryobi batteries is great because I can use it anywhere. I’m will to work around its quirks.

I'd make a couple of spacer blocks from 1/2" and 3/4" ply in the same shape as the clamp to take up the space and get it to that 1-1/2" sweet spot that the clamp is meant for.. I want the other flex light Model # PCL665B but I can't find it at ANY of the Home Depots by me. Not even online. Unless of course I get the one with a crappy 1.4 ah battery and generic charger for an extra $50. Not gonna happen. This one seems pretty cool. My old eyes would appreciate the magnifying glass I'm sure, but it's not what I need right now. Great review. Thanks.

Try making a weighted bracket that can sit on a bench top or any other surface that you can mount a small piece of 2x4 to clip it or any other clamp accessory that Ryobi comes out with. Simple and easy!!

Easy fix.. Put something heavy in the clamp when it is on the bench/table and then you can extend fully.

Wondering if a simple sprinkler concrete ring wouldn't balance it for you. Just place ring on where the battery connects to the unit.

also you could clamp it onto something heavy, maybe one of those hammers from the wall behind you, that'll stop it falling over so easily.

Just take a couple of pieces of 2 by 4 and make an l shape and weight the vertical piece with whatever you have and that should help and be easily removed.

Another Ryobi Fail..crap design. Buy a real desktop magnifying lamp with metal base. Will agree the fan was a decent product (own 3) and some of the recent led lights as well, everything else seems to be cheap crap bean counter design.
