I have this same blower. Well actually I'm on my second one. The first one started leaking fuel from the carburetor less than 2 months from purchase. Called Home Depot and they were great. Told me to bring it back and they would exchange it. So now I'm on my second Ryobi Jet Fan blower. And it started leaking just like the first one, but it took the second one about 8 months before it started leaking. Both blowers started and ran fine, they just leaked. So I called Ryobi and they told me to take it to an authorized Ryobi repair shop which was just over 30 miles from where I live. They said it was a fuel problem. So I just got it back and will see how it goes. I also have a new Ryobi string trimmer that uses the same fuel as the blower and I've had no problems with it. I've used Ryobi blowers and string trimmers for over 25 years and they have always worked great and lasted for years. But this may very well be my last Ryobi product. I still have my old Ryobi blower which I'll probably try to fix and keep as a backup so I'll have one when the Jet Fan blower messes up again.

Father in Law bought one of these for his buisness. My wife tried it out and liked it so much she bought the black version for her biz. It has worked so well that she is buying another one for summer use and putting up the backpacks for leaf season.

I usually research before purchase but I’m currently researching after purchase. This is my first leaf blower 😂

waiting 3-5 mins before cranking full blast is good practice anyway, for any type of engine to maximize life and eliminate chance of engine block cracking.

Just bought this from Home Depot. Saved $25 taking out a Home Depot credit card so I paid $109 plus tax. Haven't used it yet but I like Ryobi products. Seems like a nice solid blower. Didn't have a shoulder strap in the box but did have a bottle of 2 cycle oil for ethanol gas.

Does this unit power itself down after a few minutes of continuous use due to overheating? Does it overheat while in use? Can you feel heat coming off of it while in use?
@guywholikescheese974 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can feel heat. It's a little 2 stroke. It's not too hot to use. Used it for hours today without an issue

its nice but cord will kill your frigging back. You have to understand how to pull the cord with less power and still get it to turn on..... You did not have to pull that hard
