Great review! Short and sweet and informational. I’m ordering one right now.

Thank you for good thorough review. You even answered my question that the ryobi web site didn’t have listed on the specs. The minimum (UN extended) pole length. Again thanks!

I enjoyed this video. Your commentary was relaxed and informative. Your live action footage of the tool in use was very helpful as well, as I did not realize how far the tool extends. Thanks! I subscribed, so go make more videos!

Thank you for the review. I was wanting one of these but was concerned about how well it would work. Now to catch it on sell.

The angle adjustment mechanism broke easily with a light drop. I had the pole with the battery end on the ground, leaning against a wall, it slid down and sheared the cheap plastic angle holder, so the cutter just flops back and forth. There are no replacement parts available and I doubt it would be covered under warranty. $300.00 dollars down the tube.

So very sorry to hear yours broke. Spare parts has been a problem. I hope they get supply chain issues solved soon.

Enjoyed your video. Interested in knowing if you tried or considered any other brands before buying the Ryobi. It looked like it was doing a good job for you.

I actually have the Ryobi hand pruner and the earlier non-extendable Ryobi pruner. Before that I just used manual loppers. I did not try other battery brands first since the old non-extendable pruner worked so well I just stayed with the brand. Oddly enough I find I use all three Ryobi pruners fairly often. I thought the non-extendable one would go by the wayside but it turns out there are times that one is exactly the tool I need for some cuts.

@@HalDIY Thanks for the info. I have just purchased the Ryobi non-extendable lopper. I'll be trying it out for the first time in a few days. -- I wish they made one that would cut a larger diameter branch .

Have you ever thought of referring to measurements in metrics? 95% of the world is metric, and has been for about 60 years. Your comments are not well understood in much of the viewing world.

I know someone who learned 5 languages, Is it that hard for you to learn how to convert inches to mm? If that's the case there are tons (tonnes) of converters on the Internet, or you can publish your own review using metric.

Thanks for that idea! I have metric cars, metric tractor, metric power equipment, and metric tools but find I don't typically 'think metric' since we didn't grow up with it. I also never thought my 'little channel' would have worldwide viewers! This idea will help me help others a little better!

@@symon3003 Good luck with it. I use mine several times a year both to reach up in trees and to keep away from briars.

And yet you still use MPH with your cars and road signs. Cant you keep up with the other countries? And all US meds are in metric and so is there soda bottles. Would have taken you less time to google an metric/imperial calc than it did type your comment. Besides, Americans invented the Internet and KZbin so I think you should adapt. :)
