Never managed to finish Conquest and I hate it, I've tried to prevent spoilers for a lot of time but one just doesn't wanna play the game after managing to beat Chapter 13 with no casualties and levelling up everyone at the same rate, just to have the game freeze on the boss again 😓💀. Edit: But now I completely understand why people hate Corrin so much for being dumb, really: "I killed all of our brothers and sister but I didn't wanted to I can explain" when it's right about to kill another brother 🥴.

@@gicrueldad9520 It comes as "too convinient" that there's a curse that doesn't allow Corrin and Azura to talk about Valla, but that's bad writing, not really Corrin's or Azura's fault and it only afects Conquest, and it's the only mayor problem there, the Corrins are fairly well written underdogs that overcome their weakness, and Brithtight and Revelations doesn't really have any problem in the writing. It would had been better to make Corrin kill his Hoshidian family just to protect his Nohrian family, even if it means being in the wrong (you're chosing the bad guys, after all). They kinda attempted that, with how cold Corrin sometimes is compared to Brithtight/Revelations Corrin, but the curse is Radiant Dawn bloodpact all over again.

@@AkameGaKillfan777 I found this interesting so I did the math myself. The chance of this exact scenario happening is about 0.35% So yes this had to have taken multiple attempts. Edit: Upon second watch, corrin could have handled crits until she was in death range So actually she only NEEDED to stop two crits at the end. Changing the percent to 0.61% (although that would be a lot less funny.) Double edit: actually as long as corrin had miracle a crit would not have mattered because ryoma would have died from the counter, I’m not doin the math.

@@Emiturbina If it was an earlier hit, then I think Corrin could've died, because it is in fact determined by what specific hit is landed. It's like how RNG is saved if you Divine Pulse in 3 Houses. Even just creating a mid-battle save on Casual Mode will have the same result, unless you do something different like attacking another enemy, or using a different hit/crit percentage.

I remember doing something similar with Kumagera (recruitable boss from chapter 14 conquest) in hard/lunatic he starts with countermagic, darting blow and certain blow and as a oni chieftain he can learn death blow and counter, (making him good for offence and defense) anywho mission 20 on lunatic where Hayato is set up to be a real pain and probably kill at least one or 2 of my units if I try to beat him, I was about to ignore him till it hit me, my Kumagera with the above combo of skills just stick him in Hayato's face, seeing that Hayato hits him for half of his own HP and this setup I have will deal double that dmg cuz it's both magic and close quartered, so yea, cheeze strats with captured units go BRRRRR. It was easy to Goad Hayato in attacking close quarters as he doesn't move at all.
