المقادير:
2 كوب (250 غرام) بصل مفروم
12 فص ثوم (40 غرام) مفرومين ناعم (راس كامل)
1 كوب ونصف (100 غرام) بصل اخضر مفروم
1 باقة كزبرة خضراء (75 غرام)
1 ملعقة صغيرة ونصف ملح
1 كيلو (2 باوند) فول اخضر طازج وطري
2 كوب (480 مل) ماء ساخن
فلفل اسود حسب الرغبة (نسيت ان اذكره بالفيديو) نضيفه بالمرحلة الاخيرة من الطبخ.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup (60 ml) extra virgin olive oil
2 cups (250 g) chopped onions
1 whole garlic head, 12 cloves (40 g) finely chopped
1 1/2 cups (100 g) chopped green onions
1 bunch fresh cilantro (75 g), chopped
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 kilo (2 pounds) young fresh
green fava beans
2 cups (480 ml) hot water
black pepper to taste (I forgot to mention in the video)
🌹Instructions 🌹
1. Cut both ends of fava beans and remove the string, then wash and cut into a bite size pieces (1.5 inches).
2. In a large deep skillet heat oil on medium-high heat, sauté onions stirring occasionally for 5 minutes. Mix in garlic, green onions, and cilantro and continue stirring for 2 minutes.
3. Add Fava beans and mix to combine. Cook covered on medium heat stirring occasionally for 15 minutes.
4. Pour in 2 cups boiling water, mix together and cover. Simmer on low heat for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
Add black pepper to taste at the end.
Serve at room temperature with freshly squeezed lemon juice.
