I've had my E15HP2 (gloss black) for three years now. Priority is high end 2 channel audio, but we also watch plenty of movies too. It's been fantastic since the initial setup and fine tuning. The bottom octaves in my acoustically treated room are extremely accurate and detailed. Excellent pitch definition and texture. Capable of playing extremely low bass frequencies. A true bass head / movie enthusiast would probably prefer one of the big ported cab models. It's been one of my best purchases and won't be leaving my system...

what are you replacing it with? i'm considering 2 for my home theater
@EciOwnsYou2 жыл бұрын
I have the F18 and I have to say I'm incredibly satisfied. My layout is almost exactly like yours but I happen to have vaulted ceilings in the living room area. Shakes the house when needed but then also blends beautifully with my ELAC Reference DFR52 5.1.4 setup. I chose piano black for the WAF.

That box must have been a beast to get inside the house. Awesome! My best compliment was when someone asked what it was. They didn't realize it had anything to do with audio.

Are you into REW and calibrated mics that can measure true sub output? How is your sub 20 Hz with this thing, if you are?

F18 or E15 Hp2 which is better in case of output and faster response.Both are 900rms right? Is one is better than the other?
@tealtoolguide2 жыл бұрын
I'm not qualified to speak on audio specifications. The F18 is bigger. Subwoofers operate on basic physics. If it's bigger, it can displace more air in a given space. If you have a large room a bigger subwoofer (or more of them) is required. Measure your room and email Rythmik. They were quite responsive to me and helped me choose the right size and model for my space. If you have a smaller room than what's in this video, I've been happy with the E15HP line.

How much is it?

I've had mine for about 3 months and I'm here to tell you for the money best sub hands down. If you want to be blown away look up Enya-Only Time 17hz (extreme bass boosted) on KZbin. Turn on PEQ,Max bandwidth,20hz,and+3db. BE PREPARED TO SMILE:)

could you please measure the depth without the grill and if a 90 degree power plug and rca is used? I only have exactly 19.25" depth in my cabinet! and i want this sub.
@tealtoolguide2 жыл бұрын
The power plug is right angle (90 degree). My RCA cables are the regular straight variety. Not including the RCA or the grill, the depth is between 18.5-19". In your case I would think right angle RCA cables are a must.

I see you have quite a large room, does it fill the room without problem?
@tealtoolguide Жыл бұрын
Yes it does, but dialing in the settings along with the receiver is important. I used the settings on the sub from Rythmik (instructions in the box) and I'm happy.

@@Lowkey_nxthxn Thanks for the comments. I've had enough requests that at some point in the future I will try. I can't promise it will be soon though. I don't have the type of equipment to make a proper audio review, but I can certainly give thoughts, experience, etc.

Enjoy! How big is your living area. Cubic feet?
@tealtoolguide2 жыл бұрын
It's in a common room which means living, kitchen, dining area is in a shared space. The cubic volume, if I calculate it right, is in the range of 7,000 cu ft. Volume is reduced further by cabinets, counters, kitchen island, and furniture. It performs well within WAF constraints. The normal use case is music listening. This isn't shaking the room during movie scenes but that's more by choice. However, while set more for music, we've had moments watching movies where even children notice the base. This sub is seriously good and prioritizes quality over quantity base in my non-expert opinion.
@thunderracing15272 жыл бұрын
I have a similar layout around 10,000 cu ft. Looking at subs now and came across your video. Looking for something mostly for Home Theater.
@tealtoolguide2 жыл бұрын
@@thunderracing1527 They make a ported version which unfortunately makes it bigger. If that's not a problem, it should be better for HT. With the port, I suspect this unit would easily deliver on the bass for a similar room.
