24:56 well there are alot of differences but the main one is the sequencer. Rythmind has it, he did the melodies with it. He just had to do one note like "aaaaaaaaa" and the machine does the melody for you. BreZ had to play the melody by himself, the machine doesnt do that. In his 2nd round he played some notes in the beginning and then used some effects to apply that then created melody onto his voice and he got the drop that way. That takes alot more work to pull off, he has to use 3 effects to make the melody and 3 effects to apply it onto his voice afterwards. Rythmind only has to put in one effect which does all of this. The other Effects are just for the different texture, distortion and so on but for the melody, its just one. This both has pros and cons. Pro, on the sequencer: its super easy to use and gives you alot of possibilites con: its always in a set steprate so you dont have any innate variation, you only have half-notes or only quaternotes and so on. If you know your way around it, you could make insane stuff but it takes a bit. Pro on the "og" way: you are free to make your melody the way you like it. BizKit used that in his elimination where he sang the melody and then applied that same effect again onto his voice making that muffled effect. BreZ specifically used a combination of different effects to mimic the sequencer-type feel you get. cons: well it takes alot to set up but if you are resourceful, you can use that taken slot again in your round, BreZ did that in the end for example. Please correct me if i am wrong

Thank you for reaction, that was awesome! 😁❤ I decided to write in every battle how it felt for me live in Warsaw, so here we go with the first one... First of all I almost didn't make it because I was waiting in long queue for food but nevermind 😅 Let me tell you, live it was slapping even harder! The bass, the energy that those two bringed was just absolute madness. Me and my friends were not so sure about who will win it. I was saying Brez but it was super close. Unfortunately it was Rythmind, and I'm saying unfortunately because Brez gone through a lot and while on smaller events he was an unstoppable force, he was losing on big stages, never won once. That's why Rythmind said that in 20:23. Man, I was afraid that Brez will fall in depression or something after that one but fortunately he processed it all and now is all good 😌 Also some quick answer, about what Leo was saying in 14:25. Vocoder is a built in effect in loopstation. You record some harmonies or other things into one loop, then adjust vocoder to that loop and boom, now you can speak like a robot. For further information: Brez started recording his sound by effect called "Roll" in 4:31. Then he was done in 4:43 and started adjusting settings in effect "Vocoder" to be playing that loop when he speaks. After he was done you hear final product in 4:50. If you want, you can watch Brez's tutorial on how to do that round on loopstation and that should answer all of your questions if you still has some 😁 Again thanks for reaction and have a nice day!

One of the closest battles ever, we were the real winners for witnessing this. This was the first and probably the best battle in the whole GBB, it felt like a final. It's already a legendary battle for the ages. I feel bad for Brez because he deserved to win too and he has the potential to win these events but somehow always goes against someone who steals the show. Maybe if he had gone second he would have won, but props to Rythmind for having the perfect come backs. That moment at 20:22 was one of the greatest mic drops ever.

Yes, you can use a vocoder, and it's called the same thing. The way this one works on the rc505 tho is you have record the track you want to vocode into one of the loop tracks.

it wasnt even supposed to be like this. Im pretty sure it was supposed to be 1: Bizkit vs Brez 2: Rythmind vs Frosty 3: Robin vs Dice 4: Sxin vs Chris theodian. Honestly Brez wouldve crushed Bizkit first round based on his rounds made for this gbb, Rythmind wouldve used these routines probably since they were the best he had. So we wouldve had Brez vs Rythmind for semi's, and Robin (based on Dice's sound problems) wouldve won against dice and Sxin wouldve won against Chris. Brez vs Rythmind would end in Brez win since rythmind's other 2 rounds were bad because of lack of prep and Robin vs Sxin wouldve ended in Robin since Sxin didnt have any more rounds to use. Brez vs Robin and i genuinely think Brez wouldve won based on his last 2 rounds he prepared. He didnt have to recycle KBB rounds so Robin would have a disadvantage.
