Really he obsorbed spirit of kyo kyushin kai , the real fighter, no timings only speed work kicks and punches correctly and he wins Good to watch his inspirational videos
@AveSicarius2 жыл бұрын
I mean he's definitely using timing, look how he sets up kicks so the opponent is shifted off balance and has their guard elsewhere.

Tremendous fighter, I don't understand how he never made the transition from Kyokushin to K-1 Max.

Narushima Ryu is actually my favorite Karateka! The knockout artist! He's a great inspiration being such a small guy but taking on huge guys, and has superb technique. I have been planning on making a video about him, but didn't get to it because it takes so much work making those videos about fighters. you did a great job with these clips.

Thanks so much as always. I have been collecting Media 8 vhs and dvds all my life (the people who film all the tournaments). Otherwise ya making these would be next to impossible or just very low quality 240p. Its a pain in the ass going through all the events ripping the stuff i need. Take care.

Ryu Narushima makes me think of what George Foreman must have looked like in Karate before he started Boxing lol Very similar hand fighting and pushing to create space for big shots. Those kicks must have been scary 😂

1:10 that boy should of had his arms left up to block those kicks. And for saying this. It feels intimidating up close but once you get use to closing in it is so much fun😊 *half of these don't even have their guard up. Should always keep your arms up*
@thekyokushinanalyst68463 жыл бұрын
if you raise your arms high like a kickboxer you will be destroyed by liver punches and unable to defend them. They have to fight 5-8 times a tournament. Gotta protect the liver. if you keep your hands high 3:15 happens to you.
