This has to be the best drawning of any SF anime ever. Also Sagat was so strong, he took a hurricane, shoryuken, and hadoken to go down. Everyone else aside from Bison goes down with one or two regular moves (Ken vs THawk)

Bison was a force of true power!! I beat him with Chun LI and Blanca!! My best characters! His moves were so fast I had to learn how the predict them!! Even then I had to fight with a form that was totally unpredictable! We had a game in Alaska that was so fast because they used excellarator chips and 2 of them! It was 5 to 8 times faster then the regular one everywhere else! We were obsessed with fighting this monster computer! Man this makes my body tingle remembering all of this! In real life I have never lost in over 30 years and 2000 or more hand to hand conflicts because of what it felt like to have the power of life and death portrayed in these movies! Even though I can't do a ki blast I still love the power and lessons of a real fight! Nothing makes you feel more alive then to beat a person that thought you were weak! It was harder to control the rage then the good guys show in the movies! Thank God nobody is really this powerful!! I just fought normal people, they never had a chance so it was not even a real fight! 2 black belts and 242 bodybuilder. I cheated or stacked the deck! Still the rush from a real fight was the best rush I have ever felt! That's why we will never stop loving this stuff!

@@danyv1826 Generally speaking, what Joshua said is correct, but during the original SF2 Ryu is actually weaker and takes considerably more counter-damage, due to a mechanic named "Core" which Capcom forgot to remove on him specifically, this is according to the producer of SF2 producer Yoshiki Okamoto

This movie has some of the best fight scenes ever executed in animation form. And that's part of what makes this movie so solid and memorable. I can watch this movie over and over again, and it still feels fresh like from the day I first watched it.

happy 30th anniversary street fighter 2: the animated movie!!! :3 absolutely love how hard hitting the moves(especially referencing ken's stronger combo's & shoryuken to ryu's hadoken) are being like"if you get up lucky to tank a shoryuken you ain't getting up from a hadouken(even bison having to use most of his psycho power to escape it/ryu defeating him similar to sagat as a bookend.)" giving the special moves more potent not being spammed everywhere giving more weight to fights alongside being used realistically like ryu's whirlwind kick switching legs.

I think this is the first anime/animated movie I’ve ever watched where they don’t say the names of their signature moves. 🤔🤔🤔 And I love it for that. 😂 Ryu doesn’t explicitly say the words “Shoryuken” in the intro fight. And that’s pretty cool.

The only thing I don't like about this cartoon is when the people took out RYUs original fire uppercut move and gave it to Ken for some crazy ass reason for ever 29 years now people think Ken was the original one that did the fire uppercut when it was really RYU's special move he did it to Sagat in a street fight to the death no one died but Saget tried his best to kill RYU and RYU did a fire SHORYUKEN on Saget chest and the new generation they really think the fire uppercut is Ken's what they need to do is read the Japanese comic books it's called Battle Scars there's only three comic books of the original Street Fighter I know over the years people try to compare kens uppercut over ryu's the real truth is RYU s fiire uppercut is more deadlier

It's the Japanese version. Most dubbing companies use their own music. So this is the music for the Japanese version of Street Fighter 2 and Manga Entertainment used songs from bands like KMFDM, Alice in Chains, Korn etc.

Vega here is heck a lot stronger than Ryu and Ken put together. If he wasn't playing around, he would have destroyed both of them easily. His psycho power is simply too overpowered. I am pretty sure Ryu got his butt kicked in the ending scene. Bison was coming at him and Ken was nowhere near him. There is no way Ryu can take on Bison 1 on 1. :D
