For a breakdown of Ryugas full power here: Every legendary blader together barely was standing by taking normal hit from Rago. But Ryuga continuesly tanked many of them. After seeing that even Doji clarified that he finally understood why Ryuga calls himself strongest. Then Rago gotten a bit serious and littirally used power of black sun directly to defeat Ryuga. But even if Ryuga gotten into his knees, he still tanked it . Which surpried Rago and others that even that attack couldn't defeat Ryuga . Then when Ryuga used his ultimate move they all became more shocked and had to become slightly more serious to stop Ryugas final attack. After that to defeat Ryuga , Rago had to use his special move and later even gave a small compliment by saying Ryuga did very well to last so long against nemesis alone. So if we analyse it properly then we can see how much power difference exist between Ryuga and other legendary bladers. I can definitely say "almost half" of Nemesis's power came from Ryuga while "slightly more then later half" came from every other bladers combined.

Also, the crack in el drago made it to where his spin balance was off just a bit, so that's why he could not enter survival mode. Ryuga has a scene in the Metal Fury portion of the manga where he thanks Ginga for saving him from the dark power and acknowledges him as his ultimate rival as **spoilers** he gives his power to Ginga to fight Nemesis.

Because the message that Beyblade is trying to tell is that the blader's spirit is the most important thing. While Gingka is slightly more powerful with his "Main character" power up . That's why Ryuga thinks him as the ultimate rival. While the anime is different . Gingka isn't a flawless main character infact he becomes better and better by loosing then learning and adapting through it. And Ryuga became more powerful then Gingka. While that rivalry became more sense with Kyoya in the anime who was way below Gingka in the manga. So in short, there are nothing to acknowledge for Ryuga to think Gingka as his ultimate Rival in the anime . Gingkas truest rival is Kyoya in anime as they are both around same level. And Kenta said “If I can beat Ginga, the only person to ever defeat Ryuga, then I can face Ryuga himself.” So that’s another sign that Ryuga respects Ginga. Not to mention Ryuga was saved from the dark power by Ginga in the Metal Fusion Finale. He did overcome the dark power eventually, but he still needed to first be saved, and acknowledges it’s his greatest shame. Not really sure why Ryuga fanboys all need to put down the main character of this show, instead of liking them both lmao.

I would say Ryuga is more like Jiren than Vegeta. Even Vegeta eventually believed in family and friends, but Ryuga's last battle was still with his own earnt power without any external interference or motivation. While the Kenta damaging L-Drago theory would be cool knowing Kenta really did a number on L-Drago, we can see it's not the case. The facebolt has a scratch but mostly if they portray real damages like cracks or breaking pieces, its very visual (like L-Drago later in this episode post fight looks). The scratch only affected the facebolt as minor damage, it didn't cause any additional fractures. The significance of the scratch was proof to Ryuga that if given more training and time, Kenta would show promise and even rival Ryuga himself in terms of strength and ability. It force Ryuga to confront Kenta in a serious way, because very few times has L-Drago ever taken damages and seeing Kenta become stronger on their journey being someone who could damage L-Drago, made him change his mind. Sadly, Ryuga vs Rago wouldn't be affected by Survival Mode either as Rago did so much in one hit that the mode couldn't even take place during the fight because at the end Nemesis was just too overwhelming... Ryuga still a goat but sadly couldn't win. Not due to Kenta, but the sheer force of Nemesis being a God level threat.

Undoubtedly, even if Kenta hadn't cracked L-Drago, he would still have lost to Rago. However, it's important to note that a crack in the bolt can affect the blade's capabilities, meaning it can weaken its performance. L-Drago was damaged because Ryuga underestimated Kenta, something he never did with any other Bladers (including Chubasa). Another thing, Kenta fought smart. L-Drago was in survival mode.

The fractured facebolt disabled the mode changes and disables the ability to hold the power its stealing Frankly if we go by the logic reji set in metal fusion its a huge feat L-Drago could still battle hard despite the critical wound, no star fragment, no mode changes, and no way to use its special gimmick.

A lot of people like to say that Metal Fury Ryuga regressed to Metal Fusion Ryuga, being power hungry and super arrogant, so much so that he thought he could defeat Rago when he was already VERY clearly shown that he was no match for Nemesis. But I don't think Ryuga regressed at all, he was this way all throughout Metal Masters. Basically, Ryuga glazed himself hard. After overcoming L-Drago's dark powers, the guy thought he was invincible. Another left-spinning bey, the arrangement, Gingka getting a legendary bey, none of it mattered because there was nothing that could beat him. The idea that L-Drago could lose was so ridiculous to Ryuga, he was shaken to his core when the newborn Nemesis actually won the struggle with L-Drago. Ryuga's entire world view was shattered. He convinced himself it had to be some kind of fluke and challenged Rago again because he really was unbeatable after all, right? In the end, it was Ryuga's pride and overconfidence that did him in.
