I almost feel like Mario Maker 1 is better than the sequel. There’s lot’s of tech that was removed in the 2nd game which can be difficult to work around, I do miss midairs and ground pounding for extra height. Also it’s easier to make levels in this game thanks to the gamepad, never understood why they removed shaking items to make something new, it made the original feel more like a playground for experimenting rather than just a tool.

Far form it. Mario Maker 1 levels can be summed up as... 1. Repeated hot garbage, enemy spam, garbage troll levels, same overused concepts 2. The leveld that required skill most of those are 99% shell jumps and speed runs,nothibg original. Mario Maket 2 has a lot of variety but with more tools at our disposal, the levels are much harder. Mario Maker 1 super expert levels are what MM2 expert levels are. finally in MM2 you find some troll levels that are super well crafted. They are not your obnoxious soft lock, hidden block, and sniper thwomp levels. the reason why ryu goes back to mm1 is because is an easier game all around. The supet expert in MM2 is stressful and that is not a secret

Ryu, here's a challenge I wanna see you do since 100 man is too easy for you. You previously did 100 lives to go through all 4 difficulties, but that wasn't a challenge since you arrived at super expert with almost maxed lives anyway. So here's my twist: start on easy with 1 life, then go onto normal, expert, and super expert like before. But this way you need to try and gain as many lives as possible on the easier difficulties in order to survive the harder ones!
