3:20. correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the goal to throw the spring at the thwomp to raise him and crush the bomb. that triggers the on/off switch and the thwomp is now higher giving much more time to enter the next section. I might fire up mm2 to fact check myself later

seems intended but what ryu did is easier although tighter to enter the next section. after trying it the fire bars are meant to be obstacles as you throw the spring back and forth to get the height (smb3 can't throw up). on another note it's alway easy to forget how good Ryu and others are when they make everything look easy. I completely forgot how much i suck at water levels.

I think you can't win that level with the Thwomp until after your invisibility ends. You should try it on another level to see if it's possible to end a level on an invisibility frame.
