Great review! Only 400 dollar! That's not that much for something like this. I was wondering abouts it's lenght. How does compare to an omeme and a banshee? Inch to cm got me confused, I did do the math...

Why are these so expensive? I've held 2 and though the machining is intricate, it's kinda sloppy ngl the grooves and lines aren't SUPER clean on any of the examples I've seen online or in person tbh. I mean they're nice but they aren't perfect like fiore

By the way, need to ask, what do you think of trainers? Is there anyone you would recommend? (Really want the full custom Microtech/Marifone Tachyon lll, any thoughts about that?) Any custom makers in particular that would/could make trainers and that you really like? I figured that a nice, well balanced trainer is as good as a live blade. I don't use my Balisongs for cutting, only flipping and tricking. Helps me with stress and to focus. My way of fidgeting. I wish more makers could make beautiful trainers. I'm thinking of the blade. With a trainer, you could make the blade look as you want, to make an art out of it. I'm sure there's a lot of balisong lovers that only can buy and use trainers. And for one that is used as much time on, or more, as on a live blade, I would gladly pay full price. Think it would be nice to collect also, if trainers was made custom and their blade was used time on, shape & form, engravings & cutouts, look & colors, materials & quality.. Since I'm living in Norway, I'm little scared to buy live blades since it's not legal The customer is really doing their job nowadays. Love your reviews, and I'm looking forward to see more.✌🌠☀️🙏

hey man! I kinda hate trainers tbh lol I have my banshee I keep with a trainer blade on it, but that's about it. everytjing.else is live blade. I dont use my balis for cutting tasks either, but I'll be damned if I have a knife that "cant" cut lol also half the appeal of flipping to me is the fact of doing all the moves and tricks with a liggt saber sharp edge and not cutting yourself and losing fingers lol yes trainers can have different designs and what not, but the artform of a live blade is the grinds and contours and profile the maker imparts. I know some guys like trainers for legal reasons, but they just dont really do it for me. also theres only really been a couple trainer designs I actually like, knives/balis look a little odd to me without that glistening edge lol I do remember the nolobb chioni trainer, that was one.of the few dedicated trainer designs I actually liked. also alot of the trainers I see are much more budget oriented, which isnt a bad thing, but when I'm shopping for a Bali I'm usually shooting for the highest quality I can. but I'm with ya, I wouldnt mind paying either if it's a design I like and premium materials and dynamics. there are some makers who make some cool trainers, just gotta shop around ya know. but being international sales for live blades if.you have someone ship in seperate packages disassembled you should be good to go. and thanks a bunch man! I have so many balis I need to review I'm gonna try and get back on the ball lpl

@@taazen74 yeah I had both of the fiores actually, I handled one of the trainers and the ti live blade, to me both just felt really odd specially the trainer version had like no handle weight at all and handles felt so round with no hole pattern. on the live blade tho the fit and finish is excellent and they're gorgeous, just I suppose the way that particular pinless design works and the way everything lines up, balance etc. just felt very weird to me
@taazen745 жыл бұрын
@@mikec3201 ,thanks bud for your honest answer. After I wrote it, I was thinking just the same as you, to flip a live blade is one of the most important charm and factors of a balisong. So, I'll just keep on getting them sent in two packages, blade amd handles for themselves, as "wooden tool" or something. 😄✌
