If you take waterwalking, you can dip into the water to restore your mana, since gaining ap gives ryze max mana, he gets free mana from walking into river and leaving and re entering. Check it out

Hey Zwag! Day 17 of requesting full AP Ivern with Luden’s Tempest, Shadowflame, and Rabadon’s Deathcap! So he actually has really good AP damage scalings with a 70% on his Q root and an 80% on his E shield explosion. Also Daisy’s health and AD increase with the more AP Ivern builds! It’s worth noting that if you shield an ally and the explosion kills a champion, the kill and gold goes to them (same applies to the gold if the shield kills minions too). So for this kind of build, it’s probably better to shield and then pull yourself in with Q or keep shielding Daisy when she's up turning her into a tanky tactical nuke!

Zwag I JUST played a game as Shyv top going the Demonic, Heartsteel, and Titanic as my core. And it's genuinely jawdropping for damage. Took PTA as my main rune and the rest I think you can just use whatever, but I'd highly recommend it. Shyv needs some attention and love!

nope, it's very weak here even when tanks becoming more apparent meta, here is the mortal reminder item desc. "Dealing physical damage to enemy champions inflicts them with 25% Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds. Basic attacking a champion 2 times while they remain affected by Grievous Wound, increases their effect to 40%, and dealing physical damage to a target affected by 40% Grievous Wounds will refresh the empowered effect."

Bro I did this in an ARAM. I haven't played Ryze more than a handful of times back in S3, and I got the Tribal Ryze skin out of a box so I figured what the hell, might as well with RoA being brought back and Seraphs being changed to give more AP, right? I just facerolled all game and was 1v4ing. I had 5k mana, didn't build a deathcap at all and I was still melting through the Galio without Riftmaker.

Thats mean they are exceptionally weak compared to others like vex or any long ranged mage who just build ludens and one shotting everyone. But tbh kass and ryze still quite overbearing rn. I hoped for riot just nerf them enough for them to be playable
