Oh yeah mate a transmitter is something I'm holding our for. I have two I've tried but the ones I have aren't compatible yet but a DJI rep has said they will be soon. Once another firmware update comes out that allows me to use them I'm gonna take to the skies with it. Thanks buddy 😀👍

If you are about to crash or just feel like it you can grab the drone out of midair carefully as you could catch your hand but grab it and turn it upside down and the drone propellers stop

Wow! The Tello does some mighty tidy flips! And it flies remarkably well indoors as well. You'll no doubt want to take it back outside and fly it over your garden because it does so well! :-) You definitely don't want to drown this one in the loo (don't laugh! Back in 2006, I took a photo of my Sky Squadron Backyard Flyer in the loo because it flew like a real dog! And if I remember correctly, another R/C plane ended up in the loo for the same reason).

Hey telephony yeah I sure do like this little drone, another few outdoor flights will be coming in the next few weeks. That is definitely a new way to show you don't approve of a drone, but unlike the symbolism of it too. Thanks bud 👍😀

Awesome vid. I notice the frame skipping isn't happening now. Wonder if that was the firmware update? My kid has a tello and I thought 'hand landing' in the app actually said 'hard landing' lol That does make more sense :) /me goes to specsavers...

Haha, I had to squint to read that in the app too. Yeah I had noticed the frame skipping had stopped (at least for this flight) but I made sure I didn't do anything different from the original flight or from another private flight I did. I'd be interested to see what happens when I fly her again. 😀👍

Does this have gyro control with phone app or it’s just only touch control on phone app for controlling the drone ?? Becuase in JJRC h47 Ellie Plus has gyro control on phone app so we don’t need to touch the screen to control instead we can tilt the phone to control

Hey Prasanth Prashu No it doesn't, it has the ability to be controlled only by the smartphone analogue sticks or by a third party transmitter.👍😀

JD Quad so does this analog stick on iPhone app does it control the drone good enoughf without hitting many obstacles ? is it difficult to fly with analog stick compared to gyro controlled app on some drone ? Or should I just stay with JJRC gyro controlled thing to fly indoor inside my house ? Becuase I cannot fly any drone outside because people will complain please give me your suggestions on this

Ok no worries, personally I found the app to work very well and the analogue sticks to be responsive. I flew mine indoors and didn't have an issue with it at all. If you are used to gyro I would say stay with gyro unless you want to learn a different flying style. As you can see from the video my house is small but I had no difficulty in navigating the drone around it. 👍😀

Hey vaishak no worries, once you have attached the Tello to your smartphone then go to the options cog and select WiFi, that is how you see the password and SSID 👍😀
