Really helpful video, man! As someone who lives in a hot and humid af country, that 8-20C difference in temperature makes me want to go with the stock 2700 for my next upgrade. Were you using the stock cooler for it during that benchmark?

I too prefer 3600 if you game most of the time. But current price of 2700x is very tempting now, so If you going to stay below Rx 5700xt or rtx 2070 then 2700x is also fine

The 3000 series is worth it. If you buy a rtx 2070 Super and pair it with a 3600, you're good for the next 3 years at least, and I'm referring to 1440p (100+ fps for at least this and next year. But expect less fps as time goes on). Even if you already have a 2600, I'd say get it. The performance is worth it (more if you have a high end gpu). The difference is HUGE honestly. New architecture, IPC, etc. And overclocking a 2000 series isn't going to help. Clock speed isn't the only factor in performance for CPUs

Not much since rx580 gpu is the limiting factor here.

If your gpu usage start going around 60% ~80% in every games, by then you can start overclocking your ryzen 7 2700. Lower than 50%, i think you can start buying new cpu like ryzen 3000 series or possibly ryzen 4000 series if the motherboard support it.

For gaming is better ryzen 5 3600 (10 fps difference), but for multi tasking, streaming, editing you need more cores that ryzen 7 2700 have.
