Well it depends. If the age of the card isn't a concern I say yes. The 1080 ti is cheaper and performs better. I'd say the gamble is worth the money you'd save.

hey if i have i5-650 and 60hz monitor how much fps will I get with gtx 1080. I have a gt 740 right now, I get 80-100 fps average in Fortnite maps, and 60-80 fps average in battle royale. So, if I get a gtx 1080 how much fps will I get?

If you meant a 6500 you should be able to get 100 but if you actually mean a 650 you should not get a 1080 that will be an insane bottleneck and you should upgrade the motherboard and cpu first.

oh yeah i meant 6500 but only 100fps? i get that with a gt 740, so how will i get 100 fps with a gtx 1080? i thought it would be much more like 200 fps or more

@@MysticPulseGaming Yeah my mistake you should be able to get 144 but its not the most consistent. I don't think 200 is possible in an actual game the cpu isn't strong enough for that.
