9800X3d is 36% better for 37% more money vs the 7600X3d, but also the 7600x3d uses less power so it is cheaper to run vs the 9800x3d as well, also easier to cool and it won't make my ac work extra hard in the summer

Are you talking about the 7800x3D ? The 9800x3D is in fact about 8% faster. But here because of GPU bottleneck (mainly because he put games in the Ultra preset settings) you don't see the difference in those benchamarks. BTH it's not really worse. it's just random variation. What is true tho is that the ryzen 9800x3d is way less power efficient so i would defintely recommand you stay on that if you have it.

Still just not enough of an increase over the 78003d for my wallet. Sounds like all they really did was add more power from what you said. 😔

No your thinking the other way around, the higher the resolution the higher the CPU impact is. Have you ever tried saving a 1080p image vs 4K image and see the size difference between the two? Is the 4K image filesize smaller than the 1080p image? Imagine that but a hundred images per second (aka your FPS)

X3d should help in almost all modern games and the 7600x3d is 6 core so in cpu insentive games it would lose dramaticly

If you understood what GPU and CPU does on a deeper level than the surface "high and low graphics" you'd understand that comparing FHD, QHD, and UHD is enough and keeping everything on ultra is smart.

​@mr.cookie8904 Yeah sorry but you are wrong. If you had any experience on tweaking your games settings you would see it can have a huge impact on the GPU vs CPU bottleneck. That's the wole reason why somes games here have kind of the same framerate from 1080P vs 1440P. In reality, you can push FPS way higher in 1080p by cranking down certains settings.

It depend on the game but i'm 100% sure that your rig peform worse than the benchmark one LMAO. The 9800x3d destroy your 14900k. And what stats are you talking about, this are frames per second that are heavily influenced by GPU bottleneck.

In benchmarks, you run more than one resolution. Not only in benchmarks but the scientific process requires you to use a larger sample size to get any kind of meaningful data. You should be "....LOL!" at yourself.
