Comparing CPUs but the graphic settings are on ultra creating a GPU bottleneck resulting in not being able to see cpu differences smh

People don't understand that if you buy a mid range cpu you gonna pair it with a mid range gpu too... A test with a mid gpu is for those who pair it with the 12400f and maybe wanna upgrade it, but it's only a big deal in cpu bound games like csgo and valorant. If you wanna get way more performance for games in ultra and such more gpu bound, a new GPU is the deal and not a new CPU.

Hi, should I upgrade my ryzen 5 2600x + 1070ti pc to 5700x3D + 1070ti? I have planned to use my 1070ti gpu at least 2 more years if the 5700x3d is appropriate for it. After that I will go for 4070 or 5070 gpu. Need your assistance..

And if you buy and put 4 pieces of RAM, therefore your memory speed will decrease therefore the FPS will not be what you would like. Two pieces of RAM, preferably paired 16x2, 24x2, 32x2, is the best option for optimizing the system and its work with memory.
@cbepxpazym
@cbepxpazym 2 күн бұрын
RAM so how much of it does not greatly affect FPS, there is already a question of game crashes and memory errors itself. The less memory there is, the more chances of crashes, but in most games 16 GB is the golden mean. And in some games it is already desirable to have 32GB of RAM, such games as Escape from Tarkov for example. The game is very demanding on memory, and the game is not optimized in a good way. Also, the more memory FPS will not give you. Here is the speed of memory and its timings, how good your Motherboard is, if it is 8-layer, then it accelerates better, if it is two-section, it is even better profit from its overclocking, it also depends on what quality you have the percentage itself, successful or not, overclocked or not, here it is completely another conversation. So this test does not explain anything to the ordinary man in the street. For example, you have a game that eats 12 GB of RAM, plus background tasks of the same Windows, and if you have Windows 11, it eats even more memory, for example, you want to open a browser, plus a discord and your 16 GB of RAM flies to the maximum. As a result, you need to have a swap file, but there are problems with game crashes due to memory errors. So draw conclusions, from myself I will say yes, 16 GB is generally enough for a simple user of games, but think with your head about the right purchase. Perhaps in the future and in future games, this memory will no longer be enough, if there are already examples of games at the present time.

@andrewespinoza7869 Most I know back in the Intel 4000 series era built with 16GB ram. Some during Ryzen 5000 series were built with 32GB and everyone on new Intel and AM5 build with 32GB. 16GB has been a baseline for years. Strictly speaking of gaming, that is.

I'd be interested to see the difference between using a single stick of 24GB compared to 3 x 8GB.... That is if 3 x 8GB could even post on a 4 slot motherboard. You'd probably have to find one of those extremely rare triple channel motherboards. Was the single 24GB actually running at 4800, or 2400? Anyway..... Interesting video to watch. Cheers.

The buried lede here, especially for SFF builds, is that the 9800X3D uses far less power with better performance a number of times even than the 9600X. Seems when CPU constrained it uses about the same power as the 9600X.. Amazing. But it stands to reason if a game is cache sensitive it's far more efficient to pull data from cache than make the core do the work.

I have at home boxed 7800x3d with x870 mag msi with 2 x 16gig CL-30. I could exchange before the 12 january. I am on the list for 9800x3d ..january maybe. I have 12700k,4080 , and playing most of my game at 3440x1440p. And playing csgo at 1080p. Do you think its better to wait for 9800x3d or instal 7800x3d. Thx for your advice and good job.
