I'm 42, and back in my day, everybody in high school was crazy about Pac, Nas, BIG, Mobb Deep, etc. I loved all them niggas, but RZA was always my favorite producer AND MC in those days. His verses were so intricate and layered. He didn't have one wack rhyme for a good 7 years. I could listen to shit like Tragedy, Sunshowers, all his verses on the Gravediggaz albums, etc and they never get old.

When they started talking about father hood, that shit is relatable when you come from an American Indian or a Canadian First Nation community. The First Nation Parents of Canada were stripped of their language and ways of living through the governments Residential schools and when rza talked about being able to say " I love you " to your children, that shit hits home. Because through the residential school system in Canada, First Nations kids weren't taught how to love, and that devastated the next couple generations after the First Nations were raped stripped of everything they know. Now they wonder why there is boys in the hood. SHits getting better a little bit. Loved this interview.

In my 30s and wore my wu shirt the other day. Dude at the gas station ws like did someone die frm Wu or is it WU day?!? i was like why? He said just 4 hours prior to me walkin in about 10 diffr ppl had came into the store at seperate times wearin a wu shirt or hat most hs students. That day i was delivering food and happened to look across the street in forver 21 or holister (I forgot) but the mannequin in the window had a wu shirt. Later tht night I am delivering food I go to chik fila out here in gilbert az and kids was throwin the Wu symbol yellin cash rules to me. Like every where i was delivering that night. A few days later I see thia badie walkin wearin a Wu shirt that ws torn to fall off her sholder and show most of her bob. The point of me mentioning all of this was at like 6 and into my teens I never imagined the WU making it to Tempe, scottsdale, Gilbert and chandler well established suburbs AZ. Especially with ppl that are not at least my age in their 30s. Most not black or brown. One girl that yelled out WU look like she only listen to Taylor Swift and harry styles. But hey dnt judge a book. That was a trip tho. But it also made me proud.
