If we are given the new definition of f'(x) then how did we apply the original first principle for g'(x)??

Sir I didn't really understand the method. U used g(x) but finally went on to find f'(x) without the formula? Why? Or the func changing its der formula as a whole changes the formula for its linked function? Edit: Moreover you wrote f'=g' and then went on to diff g and equalise it to f' by simple prod rule.. I didn't get your explanation at all. Please help

Sir I got your point but for a time if just take derivative of LHS then it comes equal to 2 which is not equivalent to RHS... My point on that it should be denoted by let say h(x)

Sir, how is this possible? f(x) = xlnx then f'(x) would be 1 + lnx So f'(x) at x = e must be: 1 + lne = 1 + 1 = 2 Then the answer is 2 right?
