Great video for me and you explained everything very clearly. I am in the process of adding two LED Light Bars ... a 6" for the front bumper and a 30" on the front of the roof. My stock battery was new in Jan '15 and has functioned flawlessly but I am concerned about adding even more accessories on the stock battery. Your video convinced me to do the same on my 2012 800S LE as you did on yours. Thanks!

LED Light Bars take only a small fraction of AMPS roughly 9amps for every 100 watts @ 12volts

I have limited space up front on polaris crew, Will a stock battery do the trick and with the kit I might need longer heavy gage wires to run primary battery.

I have not heard or noted the type of your prime battery. But the second is to be AGM. Do you know that you cannot mix an acid battery with an AGM battery ?

Which battery do you attach a trickle charger to for periods of non use? I was thinking of putting a battery cutoff switch between the two on the positive lead and use two trickle chargers.

so with this kit and battery. will my winch have more power. That meaning not draining my main juice.?

BRAP_SEASON I wouldn't say your winch would have more power per say but yes if you have your winch wired up to your auxiliary batter like I did you can run your winch until that auxiliary battery is dead and it won't drain your main battery. I hope that answers your question...

I actually think it doesn't matter which pole goes to which battery with those smart isolators.

Great video! I also have a question. I have a stereo system and a back up camera on my can am maverick x3. The stereo system was installed professionally and at first it didn't seem to bother my battery, but over last month every time I try to start my maverick it is dead if it's been sitting for longer than say a week or so. Battery is stock and is only a couple of months old. Question is if I run something like you have here, do you think this would stop the battery from dying? Thanks.

I've heard they are great batteries but you obviously have a draw when the power is off. Keep a trickle charger/maintainer on it when you're not riding

I would say your drain is because regardless your memory in you stereo will draw because it keeps it's setting the only way it can

So if ur nite riding and it disconnects the aux battery, will all ur lights and sterio go off?

Mike Stremlin No sir, it only disconnects the aux battery from the main battery and the charging system. Everything connected to the aux battery will continue to work until the aux battery goes dead.
