Hey!!! I have a question. I have a 2019 RZR XP 4 Turbo, all 4 tender springs are tight, 0 room in there. I weight over 400 lbs and my wife weighs 180lbs and my daughter is 150 lbs and I have around 200lbs of gear. Thats including roof, nerf bars, cooler, etc.... Do you think these RZRAid tender springs will still do the job or am I too heavy for this quality. Reason I ask I don't want to spend 350$ just to have to go too a company like shock therapy and pay 800$ and waste that 350$. Your thoughts on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

@@scorchearth5808 great question man. I also have a lot of accessories on my RZR and carry a lot of gear on longer rides. My RZR weighs almost 2200lbs loaded without me in it. That's about 600lbs over stock. 800-1000 over stock with me and a passenger.

Thank you for the terrific review, I just ordered some for my 2019 RZR RS1, all four tender springs are completely squashed, worthless. I didn't want to spend $800 plus tax and shipping for shock therapy springs. I just wanted some replacement tender springs that would give me a more comfortable ride when I'm trail riding. These tenders springs should do the trick.

OK bought RZR aid springs for my 2019 highlifter and back ones went on smoothly. Putting the front ones on are impossible to compress the main spring that tight to get the collar on. The tender springs are all the same size which i dont understand. Any help would be appreciated.
@XMARGH3 жыл бұрын
You have to compress the front springs tremendously to get enough room with the tender to slip in the cup. It’s doable. Yes all 4 are the same size, that’s what AllThingzUTV sends in their Walker Evan kits.

Thanks for the helpful video, I have 2 place 2019 HighLifter with 32in Rampages and I found the ride like an old cattlecar. Cutter Loose springs have been out of stock for awhile so I ordered from HighLifter their tender spring kit specific for my model/yr of RZR. The included instructions show only shocks that are different (need a spring compressor)? Nothing at all about preload. With your explanation of preload and recommended ride stance via Polaris. Im going to give these springs a whirl.

I ride a Turbo S Dynamix (2020) . tenders were collapsed when I bought it. I use it for scrambling and the odd jump. Would just the tender spring upgrade be worth it or better to have the complete set ? Not that I can afford the full set 😂
@XMARGH2 жыл бұрын
It will probably help to soften the ride up. my current Turbo S Velocity I have Eibach DRS stage 3. You can’t knock a tender upgrade though it works well for how much they cost.

How are the handling characteristics now after the spring install ie: high speed cornering on tighter trails and high speed cornering on Forrest service roads

These are valid points but I can't give any feedback. The Outlaw 2 tires are an utter and complete handful in any high speed maneuvers. If I had the opportunity to switch to a set of trail tires I could give more feedback.

Good review - if you only paid $300. they've gone up a LOT in 4 years. Now I'm looking at $785 USD for the upgrade. That does include $90 for front spacers on a '17 XP though.

I put a set of these on my 2018 RZR HL and ordered the HD Spring Rate version. I have about 20" of ground clearance with about 1/8" preload left. My rear is currently setting at 17.5". Did yours have to settle first? FYI I am running 32" ITP Mayhems that actually measure to be 32.75"
@XMARGH4 жыл бұрын
William Wilson The rear of the RZR will never lift as high as the front will. The front won’t settle either. You’ll have to back down the fronts till you get to around 18.25” You want .5” to .75” higher in front then rear.

Where do you personally take ride height measurements from?
@XMARGH5 жыл бұрын
Bottom of the frame. You can also use the middle of the control arm bolts as a reference as well. As long as you keep using the same reference point it doesn't really matter.
@eugeneroyer91004 жыл бұрын
Really enjoyed your xmargh viedo. I just purchased a 2015 rzr from private owner. He had purchased just the front 2 sring tender swap kit and installed them, no rears. My problem when I ride on a local trial thats very rocky the front end seems like its bottoming out on frame. If I adj these down more like inch on front would that reduce bottoming? It rides really good on regular roads and handles good there.
@XMARGH4 жыл бұрын
You only have so much ground clearance, yes you can turn the adjusters downwards to create more lift, but it might ride rougher on regular roads. Also be aware that shock oil gets worn down and nitrogen can leak from the shocks making them less effective over time as well. Most RZR shocks are rebuildable, which means they can be serviced by changing the oil and adding proper amount of nitrogen.

@XMARGH3 жыл бұрын
Start with the stock pre-load measurements and go from there. You are looking for the rear to sit .5"-.75" lower in rear then the front. I would aim for factory ground clearance.

I checked them out too. They make amazing product. You sure do pay for them though. I understand if you are racing or something it's really worth the extra coin for the quality but I just want to get a bit of a ride improvement and my clearance back for trail riding. Are the RZR Aid springs really that much worse for my needs??
@XMARGH4 жыл бұрын
Shock Therapy is amazing but its at a very premium price for those who like to ride fast, jump big or ride at a completive level. This "Tender Spring" upgrade will fit 90% of the owners who drive SXS. I would have never installed more then Tender Springs on a Highlifter with big mud tires. My Turbo S is a whole different story.
