Hi all, Just wanted to add a small bit of information that I wasn't able to fit into the video. During the ambush, a third S.B.S. trooper was wounded, whilst another from the S.B.S. was awarded the Military Cross - Britain’s third highest Military decoration - for actions during the engagement. Unfortunately, the full details / citation for the Military Cross haven't been released to the public. Thanks, LfE

The next year Cpl Kumar Pun from F Company, 1RGR was also KIA in Afghanistan and sadly received the same fate Please don’t forget the Gurkhas, they’ve been loyal to Britain for 200 years🙏🏽❤️

You did a fantastic job covering this, I take my hat off to you. Thankyou.. ALways wanted a Pinkie Wolf Landy for civvy use, crazy how it was the best colour for the camo against desert terrain, on sunrise and sunset they are almost invisible.

RIP both of them. Tragic loss of two good UKSF blokes. As for being deployed with no qrf. Thats unbelievable. Should never have happened.

Headcount back at the base...what...that’s not normal procedure at all...RIP
@manticore49523 жыл бұрын
Sounds like they evacuated under heavy fire and couldn't headcount but why didn't they headcount when they reached a safe distance?
@kali66513 жыл бұрын
Right? How the hell do you break contact and not do a headcount? Piss poor leadership if you ask me.
@JuliusSeizure13 жыл бұрын
@@kali6651 its all okay for you to say that now, but i imagine if you were in that situation worrying about your men and the enemy a head coat is the last thing on their mind.. Don't be so quick to judge, because you and i were not there to say why, what, where and how. No plan, however well planed, survives after first contact..

@@kali6651 100% agree, head count would be done. @Fridge Gobbler shows you've never served from your reply.....'head count is the last thing on their mind'...... Seriously???? It's not Call of Duty!!! Head count and other checks would be done at any time, even during a contact if you were i the sh*t. Get back to you game and enjoy it.

Nice to have some info about the SRR - seems to be a very secretive unit due to their nature. The only thing I know for sure about them is that they had custom Rolexes made (no joke)!
