I like the game, its fun but replays on PS4 pro struggle with frame rate which sucks cause replays are awesome track side cams, no constant switching, what about PS5 replay frame rate

Oh yeah I remember this game from Milestone. I dunno on console, but on PC there was no proper support for Steering Wheels, nor even for Controller and the game doesn't even support multiple devices. Developers also abbandoned futher support of the game without an official announcement on Steam, so they left the community with an half made product. With this title, Milestone basically ruined their own reputation as racing game developers.

Looks again, its actually fun to play, somewhat reminds me of classic CMR titles with slight flatter surfaces. Tarmac physics are surprisingly good. Very much bashed by hardcore Dirt fans who obviously never played RBR it seems, tarmac physics in this game rival Dirt and Dirt 2 for me. ATM im going through WRC 2 Extreme season on PCSX2/PS2. Milestone isnt a huge dev and they have maybe few to many licensed titles, id go lesslicenses and some areas of games improved, budget gets spread maybe. I just always put graphics secondary hah

Yep, PS5 , the supposed 8K machine, the supposed 120FPS machine, at 4K still doing just 30. I am still waiting to see a game doing 4K 60 stable LOL.

@@manostororosso2364 By the way this is a PERFECT test.. since I have Dirt 5 (it's a massive download), I'll get it going now as I go to sleep so it's done when I'm up. And I'll be able to compare a PS5 directly with a 2080S/8 core 17" Alienware laptop. I look forward to telling you the results!

@@manostororosso2364 Ok so following this setting: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnTZdmeAfK-ooM0 to match the PS5 1080P mode.. I don't know what my real max FPS is. It's weird, I disabled g sync for this game and disabled any frame rate limiting (usually I have it at 140 for the 144 hz screen, with g sync on and v sync off). And it is a constant 144, the refresh rate of the screen. This has happened on some games before, they just cap out at screen refresh rate and then sometimes they will uncap and go into the thousands (an old game sonic racing for example does this, sometimes I launch it and it is capped at 144, other times i launch it and it is at 3000 FPS (old game LOL)). At Ultra, and I mean the ultra MAX setting, I am averaging 110 FPS. 1080P with resolution scaling disabled and render of 1080P. I presume the PS5 does not resolution scale either? What about at 4k? Now I know a PS5 is a lot cheaper than a good gaming laptop, but it's not really close is it?. I couldn't go to sleep, I had to wait for the download to test it LOL. Even on all medium settings it was 144, so we are already way ahead of the PS5 there. One interesting thing I discovered, as most games don't offer this, is I can render it at 4K on my 1080P screen, and it looked better. I know this sounds stupid but 4K on the 1080P screen looked better and sharper/cleaner than 1080P on the 1080P screen. At 4K rendering I got 80 FPS average. So that's the result I would get on a 4K screen rendering at 4K. It just bothers me cause MOST, and yes, MOST PS5 games that are a true 4K, are 30 FPS locked. Maybe THOSE ones are using "ultra settings". the way I see it is - 3080 = 4K 60 ultra, PS5 = 4K 30 ultra, or 4K 60 low or medium. I have no issue with this, that's great! What I take issue is with people arguing "how much more powerful than 2080ti they are and equivalent or more powerful than 3080 and 3090". I see it all the time and it drives me nuts. For example, a 3080 can do 60 FPS now on 4K in Flight simulator.. PS5 would never be able to do that, no way! Let alone a 3090LOL which just blows the pants off it. Of course the PS5 is WAAAAAAAAAY cheaper, but is that even relevant now when it's impossible to buy one, and very easy to buy a gaming laptop? Especially an older one with 2070 super which is where we are guessing PS5 stands, at 2070S mobile level, and between 2060 super and 2070 desktop level. See the consideration of preset quality has to be taken into account, not just res and FPS. If it was 60 FPS at 4K at ultra settings, then that's different.. But with the PS5 it's just not. Nor is the Xbox series X. An older 2070S gaming laptop can be found on blowout for 1000 bucks or LESS these days, and you get a whole portable computer with it as well.
