This game was so dang hard when I was a kid. You had to come in first to unlock the new animals and it was always heartbreak getting hit by something right before the finish line by the car you were about to unlock.

amazing how scars was a regular game for that times but would be a top game today, because it had smoth 3d animation and real time reaction with the terrain, thing that engines are unable to do

I was a huge Nintendo fanboy in the NES days, but in the 16-bit era, I branched out and fell in love with multiple systems. By the 32/64-bit days, I spent more time on the PlayStation, and overlooked all but the major Nintendo releases on the N64. I feel like I missed out on a lot.

Wow this is much different from the PlayStation one version which I grew up with the music's different the loading animation is a little different but other than that it's the same game still interesting to say the least.

@@fivef00tgiant been using cheat codes to record progress, you can also change the size of your cars by using the c buttons too after using the cheat code or completing the super challenge! I did it as mantis

Mine too. I think these graphics are more solid, but PSX version is WAY faster and smoother (It´s not an opinion, it´s a fact). That´s what you search in a racing game.

I remember this, wasn't all that great compared to Mario Kart 64. It wasn't horrible but there were far better racers out there.

io haved it. and i played it often.. but everytime i play it only with friends.. mostly i thought, that is was very slow. I played to much mk64 and fzero. ^^

@lasarousi i said "up there" not "it's surpasses ocarina completely" because no game will ever best ocarina, EVER (well...MAYBE half-life 2, but that's pushing it :p)
