I live in Dubai and you’d see LS400 and 430’s alot on road and very rarely merc and old bms cos they’re scrap. I believe that the LS 400 and 430 is best car money can buy! 🔥💥fuel efficient, less maintenance, luxury at affordable price. A custom paper unregistered costs about 15k AED only.

These early Lexus are an awesome car. We have owned ours for 10 years and it’s got 340,000kms on it now. The dilemma for me is do I replace it with a LS460 or purchase another LS400 with low kms. I love the classic shape of this model but the LS460 offers a lot more bells and whistles😬

That car came out when I was 15 in 1990,it had a different quality to the very best offered by the German brands.it was a year later until I saw one in reality I was flabbergasted how it looked so well made and futuristic so I bought a 1990 a few year back and still have it such a great car and nothing goes wrong with these, nothing you buy today will outlast an ls400 I believe, simply legendary and no car is more enjoyable to travel in. Funny how things change, they stay the same. Now today the LS, as nice as it is, isn't even a factor anymore and barely sells. It's years behind in tech and doesn't even offer a v8 anymore. Pity. Lexus fell behind when they let the previous generation LS460 go 10 years while allowing the W221 and the W222 to move ahead. Now there is no comparison to the W223.

They built Lexus to compete with it in America, cause they knew no one in USA would get a luxury toyota for that price atleast back then, and then Lexus was born..... They solidly tested the ls during it's development tested it on the autobahn, by putting it a cressida badge..... It overtook the s Class by a mile.... Beautiful ride.
