When I think back to S Club's tour diary kind of series they did for think was a Saturday morning tv show (though don't quote me on exactly what it was shown on), for their 2nd tour as a group they all did a like behind the scenes of what happened before and after each show. They had Pauls one and for part of it he was talking about Hannah (who he of course is referring to in this if not stated directly) and he said 'she saved him' (not exactly word for word) and that was because he didn't find it very easy at all. If I could find his episode (as I think the whole series is on KZbin) I could show that exact bit where he states that, to be honest knowing now how hard they were pushed I can completely understand, can't have done him any good bless him.

@@resnonverba137 actually he didn't blow it, it was too much so he stepped down.. crazy respect for him putting his own mental health first in a time when it was a taboo subject.. after sclub he did stage performances until he had an injury during a show which put him out of the game, since then he's been successful in his own right. I can guarantee he is in a better place then you are.

I think Paul should’ve take the acting side of the group as one of the main things. When you are performing on stage as a performed is just that, you are playing a role, and S Club 7 taking the acting part as one of the main numbers he maybe could have take everything as an acting role. But being in his shoes should’ve been chaotic I believe. They did have great music after all, it changed style in every album but they alway kept the Motown songs as a stable. I actually love their songs and their harmonies. Paul’s song Love Train is Motown heaven. You did great man!!!!! You made our early years special, you did magic!!! Stay proud of you past, embrace your present ♥️

I can tell Paul is a right genuine, down to earth bloke. Not just because that's how he comes across anyway, but he actually had the balls to walk away from the industry as soon as he felt like too many liberties were being taken. Not many artists that do, most of them just bite their lip and take the money.

The public moved on from him, it wasn't the other way around. You're acting as if the band would still be some huge success today. They wouldn't. It's a shame that she knocked him back in the end. I found Paul to be so sweet and kind. Sure, he may not have been the most confident guy in the world. But I'd rather a guy who is a bit more demure and approachable, than a guy who thinks he's too good for most females on the planet (if you know what I mean) or he is so confident that he is unable to show any empathy for shy people and such. And then to hear the news about his sudden passing, it made me very sad. My heart went out to him and his loved ones. I hope he did manage to find someone who made him happy in the last 3 years. I also wonder though, if there was some kind of fear, aprehension, perhaps some depression lurking there. And I wonder if that may have been behind what may have happened to him. Despite the upcoming reunion tour, and Paul claiming to be so excited for it. I do wonder, though, if there was some kind of reservations also. Especially after watching this clip. But thank you for the music, Paul. Thank you for sharing some of your life with the world, and making many people happy.

Yes it’s such a limited shelf life and although the bulk of the money is made by fuller and maybe the song writers they are worked very hard over a short period of time so the money they do make has to be invested wisely ,even if they bought a house or two outright and it all fails a few years later as inevitably it will they still have something tangible but look at bands like five star and see how easy it is to fall. He seems a nice guy and as long as he can get by what an experience he can say he’s had ,that can never be taken away
