My mother did part of her hairdressing apprenticeship in Midsomer Norton. I got as far as Shillingstone in about 1958 or ‘59. Sadly never did the whole line. Well done for the work that has been put into this project, a labour of love.

Interesting seeing a Peckett number 2147. In New Zealand we have number 2157 which runs on 3'6 gauge. I recognized the oiling arrangements in the slide bar and front of pisrton before I saw the makers plate. They are very reliable, easy to fire and maintain locos.
