I'm a believer in "seen before, not return" as many years ago I recall my dad towing our over-large DIY baggage trailer he'd built whereupon my dads Vauxhall 101 estate "me (& my dad)mainly "(99.9% him as I'd be about 4+yrs)had successfully climbed an Austrian pass being "held - up" by a Maxi(UK registration too) towing a caravan,a VW Campervan(& everyone knows how slow THEY are)following behind the 'van up a pass that to my junior eyes looked just like it was "/\/\/\/\" kind of tarmac with severe steps (@ every hairpin bend on the ascent)on the inside of each bend so a very very "wide line" was needed to avoid getting stuck on the bend whilst also fearing the immense drops visible through the rock "elevated"(too perhaps 2ft-3ft height)kerbs (for want of a better description) that make wide-open Italian Job curves look like a riot for bikes if they're unlikely to collide(die)with oncoming traffic. It cost my parents 200 shillings in fines for the towing a trailer up there,& my dad joked about "should've been a leather medal instead"& left me with many happy memories of long ago family camping trips where we'd drive (assorted "cheap car"s. needing hefty repairs)which were often DIY remedies There was also a saying way back "See Naples & die" (true:due to the daily switchover from into/out of the city's motorways catching my dad unawares when we came to leave the campsite thus attempting to turn right off the "side road" which had the campsite , directly into oncoming traffic @ motorway speeds & was faced with about 6 lanes of traffic(both sides of the motorway either in or out of Naples to ease the workforce's commute)I've had comments on my channel saying I should vlog about these "adventures" of life, but I've forgotten whether I left them or deleted these comments as it'll be a few years since I last ran my channel or uploaded fresh content. I now find myself returned to work doing a job I'm not keen on but I'm unable to cease else a)I'll be even more skint & unlikely to ever "get away" even for a couple nights camping on my bike, & b)a pandemic. Nobody "deserves" a crap job, but anything's better than none. I'm fortunate to have already obtained all 3 types of UK licence but the misfortune of earning my living in a vehicle has resulted in various ailments that prevent me enjoying my biggest passion of driving/riding whenever I want rather than when my body allows. Recently,I was almost late for work simply because it took me so many attempts to board my bike. If I'd known a few minutes sooner that my body refused to move supple enough to board,I needn't have hurried as much. I just might charge a camera & create a vlog but very unlikely that it will ever get edited as I still have vids from previous rides that aren't rendered (nor likely suitable YT material if I wish to avoid hefty fines/costs)& have recently been "caught" by an automated camera (9 MPH over in a 50)which is a huge downer to my mental health. I now need time off work which will increase the financial pressures thus negating the benefit of the extra income. True,I shouldn't have exceeded the limit but it was a section of easily analysed as "safe" @ 60 MPH which was actually the limit when I used that road when visiting my now long passed mum. #Ride safe Andy

I think you should tell these stories Chegs! Those are the kind of experiences that not everybody has had, and those that have will just enjoy it all the more!
