Sol Strider is starting to take shape. This will likely take the next episode or 3 to finish, quite the undertaking. What will be the primary propulsion, H2 or Ion? I would suggest H2 mostly for planetary lift-off, and Ion for space navigation. You can refuel H2 in space once you set up the Ice mining outpost, and if you cover the "wings" of the Sol Strider (top & bottom) in solar panels, you can recharge batteries for the Ion power. I'm guessing you'll outfit the Sol Strider with a refinery & assembler? If so, then when you find Uranium you can process it and build some reactors without having to run all the way back to an outpost.

Yeah. Was definitely thinking refinery and assembler. Hydrogen for sure is going to be primary. I might place ION in various places for prep of space travel. I like the idea of placing some solar just to help. May also have one emergency Hydrogen Engine.

@@Quantum_Tator If you're wanting to keep symmetry, it's going to become overcrowded real quickly if you put a large H2 tank on each side with the 2 large cargo. Refinery & assembler might have to end up on the bridge level. Maybe consider making the Sol Strider larger, or only use H2 thrusters for planetary lift-off. Then two smaller H2 tanks should be enough, and maybe use H2 for emergency forward thrust to outrun something. H2 engine for backup power works well, but those dang things like to use up all your Ice if you don't keep an eye on them.

Hueg?! Bigguh is bettuh. You will need to edit the autocrafting as the need for steel plates/interior plates/constr. comp. will be in the thousands for the Soul-Strider, better to get on the front foot for that. Rosie will love the challenge when she gets turned on. (Is it easy to turn her on? I think it might be.) Colour scheme: maybe a pale blue and bright, metallic orange with some dark grey highlights. Leave plenty of room for guns. Lotsa guns. ALL the guns!

I like the color scheme Idea. It was everything i had not to get episode recorded before i dropped this one. But I like the feedback. But I am pretty pumped about getting this thing up and running. Just need to make sure i can get it off the dang planet. Definitely going to arm it. not sure it will be a warship, but will at least be defensible. May need to add Bob Part Dose.
