This was a 2011 interview with Late Chief S.F. Olowookere, the Aro of Ijioni-Ijeda Ijesa. S.F Olowookere passed on 2012 April 8 which was Easter Sunday at age 66.

Thank you very much for reminding us what the contributions of these great juju musicians has been to the Nigerian entertainment scene. I am in awe of their talents, considering what they were able to do without any formal music training, limited western education and scarce musical instruments. One thing keeps reverberating with all of these musicians; they did not get consistent royalties for their work. They were easily exploited. The business ethics in Nigeria has been a rotten one for a long time.
