Good to hear this from Kenya, African because the West and India media often slander China cooperation and Africa with lies.

@@chiangchengkooi9791 You wouldn't know it from the media, but the Kenyan SGR broke even end of year 2019 by making $150 million, two years ahead of schedule. 2020 should have been first year of profit but SARS-COV 2 stopped that. However, recent data shows that SGR made $90 million end of July, 2021, and if this trend continues, this will be the first profitable year for SGR, right on schedule. All the media propaganda about SGR losses and China debt trap is comparable only to that against the incredible, rapidly-developing Xinjiang and it's people, because everything that's reported is the opposite of the truth.

For those worried about arrival time in Mombasa regardless of where you are going we have vehicles taking you to your destination even door to door drop offs it's very affordable,others are right outside and you can always get a number of SGR driver services it's advertised everywhere on the streets just get any they are very reliable and can do even door to door drop offs may be liv you can share some of the numbers for those new travellers if you can. Each estate has got more than enough SGR drivers and is as cheap as 300 Bob in most estates at north coast

thanks for this, I was cracking my head thinking about how to get transport from the Mombasa terminal to CBD. I was told there is not transport and if I get it is like 1000 bob which is ridiculous.

Cette vidéo me plaît beaucoup.
@LIVKENYA
@LIVKENYA 3 жыл бұрын
@ExtremeDrokarte
@ExtremeDrokarte 3 жыл бұрын
Merci.
@LIVKENYA
@LIVKENYA 3 жыл бұрын

Another awesome Vlog Liv. Night train is a no for me. I don't think it is well planned for the leisure traveler. I prefer the previous train that had somewhere to sleep and 100% more privacy. Also, they served dinner and breakfast and arrived at a time you could get a ride from the station. This current train seems to be the bare minimum. Unless there's an emergency, issa NO for me. Btw, what was that room that had beds that you showed about a second? Thanks for the awesome information.

I used SGR train recently. It's a shame that Kenya relied on just one road to move labour and capital for decades. And that one road serviced East and Central Africa. SGR is such a game changer. Whoever criticizes SGR is THICK! The port of Mombasa is Kenya's lifeline. It needs big arteries to move cargo. If SGR wasn't built, the port would not be as efficient as it is now. President Uhuru Kenyatta please continue to build. Ignore the fools out there shouting "debt", "loans". Jenga. Infrastructure will keep Kenya ahead of everyone in a very short time

Here is an obvious business opportunity. Somebody should set up a shuttle service between the SGR, airport and downtown. Just borrow or hire a bus that is not being used at 3 am. He will make alot of money. .... love from Singapore

Hey Keff. Thank you for your suggestion. Afew people have now ventured in that business and it now easier commuting from SGR. Thanks for the love

The Uber /bolt and other online cab services are usually unavailable during curfew hours. So you can only get a cab from 4pm.
