I think I'll wait to see what they do with later iterations from Bleach. I've seen how Tamashii Nations has updated engineering and sculpt on characters over the years, specifically with Dragon Ball Z abd Naruto figures, so I'm optimistic that later figures will improve on the leg designs that bother me.

How unfortunate that the greatest proponent of the figure so far (it seems) got probably the worst QC. :( Besides that, I think he looks good. I'm... not really against the pants at all. I know the only alternative would have been soft goods, and I don't really care for soft goods tbh unless they're really necessary. That head construction is definitely overdesigned and not that good. I might try to thicken the pegs with a dab of glue so that the front of the hair and face don't fall out constantly. Good review of a good figure. QC issues and engineering/sculpting sensibilities aside (for people who hate the pants) I think he's actually a sleeper hit. That said, I'm honestly more excited for a design/outfit for him that shows up later, and I hope that the line does well enough to churn out more characters.

Good tip on the head there, here’s hoping for different looks and some more characters. Tamashii needs to stop being afraid of women since Bleach has arguably one of the best female casts in anime.
