This Bring Arts Sephiroth is an overpriced dumpster fire of a figure!!! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

I apologize for my French throughout this review, but this figure sucks. I've never felt more ripped off buying an action figure. Square Enix has been charging waaaay more for much less. Not to mention their quality control issues have just gone through the roof. Piss poor quality!!!
I'm a huge fan of the classic FF VII. However, to say that this Bring Arts Sephiroth is a colossal disappointment is an understatement.
Fortunately my copy is still covered by the supplier's warranty, but at this point Square Enix should have already perfected their production quality since they've been making action figures forever.
Such a shame because Sephiroth has never looked this good and not to mention the likeness is just spot on. But no one should be swinging a bat for this company if they keep making overpriced hot garbage.
What a waste! To think that it takes them a millennium to push figures out.

I had to do a lot of fixing with mine. I'd say afterward I'm pretty satisfied, but they're nowhere near the quality of a figuarts, hell, even a figma... 🤣

China has some without box around 50ish USD but includes all accessories. I think I will settle for that version instead since universally was the figure complained by many collectors. Sure, KGR Kyle gave him a 7/10 but I think it was just him being very forgiving or not planning to play with that figure.

@@kdakda426 I am actually considering that moving forward. But since I have committed to reviewing figures, I thought it would be nice to feature the whole package, including the box presentation itself. Some fellow collectors I know of go for the boxless ones from China -- both for PAK and Bring Arts. They are authentic sans the packaging. That said, a wise choice on your part. @@CBArticulates Yes, the boxless ones are good for the most part. But not all figures have boxless version, which is why Cloud did not have that version for the first release. Only till the second release did boxless version start to emerge, hence its either you are patient or u miss out on the figure entirely. Example would be the FF10 PAK new releases do not have boxless versions.

​@@kdakda426I'm definitely gonna wait and see for Rufus and The Turks. I am already seeing a potential problem with Rufus since he has a long coat as well. The importance of patience definitely cannot be underscored enough for this rather expensive hobby.

Well, these figures aren't meant to be "played with," to be fair. Posed, displayed, yes. Played with, absolutely not.

Shame about the new bring arts :( I only collect the play arts ones and they seem ok. Have you tried the Play Arts vol 1 and 2? Theyre quite old but they have the look of the old game and you can get them much cheaper.

I have never owned Play Arts figures, but there are a few that I still want to collect. But I swear a lot of these new releases just aren't worth how much they're charging. You're not wrong. I would take multiple 10-dollar figures over this one. Looking at Blokees Transformers, which are only around 7 bucks apiece. 😅
