A very Happy New Year everyone, welcome back to the channel! I hope you’re all well rested and ready for 2024 cuz I cant think of more appropriate way to kick start this year, the year of the dragon than with OG Dragon himself, SH Figuarts Bruce Lee, 50th anniversary edition.
A commemorative release, 50 years after the legends untimely passing.
This of course is Bruce Lee as appears in the cult classic film, Enter the Dragon, which is also his last film, and is probably his most iconic look.

This figure is smaller than normal SH Figuarts nowadays but the faces still look good. It seems like you skipped over the ab articulation there.

Bruce Lee was always my idol growing up, still is. I recommend reading his biography Bruce Lee: a life by Matthew Polly. He really was an incredible person. Anyway, this figure will look great next to my new 4k of Enter the Dragon.

Oh man I would LOVE a Jet Li version Wong Fei Hung with umbrella figure. Would be so awesome. I can't wait to get my copy of this figure. I think the face plates look better on this one than the original version, but need to have in hand to be sure. Thank you for the review as always.

7:23 so this comment may be a few months late, but I actually have the original release of this Bruce Lee and the crotch piece IS exactly soft flexible plastic. Like exactly how you describe it here lol I’m wondering what made them cut back on the soft plastic for this 50tb anniversary version? Either way, I do still hope you’re able to enjoy the figure! Not yet but probably in the future. All bootlegs don’t have the holofoil Tamashii sticker. Third party companies can’t duplicate that for some reason

7150 yen is the local MSRP in Japan. After import costs and taxes, and domestic mark ups, it's $67.99 at every US retailer.

It just doesn't work.. you can't do joints on a figure who is topless/clothless. Those awkward joints on the limbs (legs are acceptable but not the arms) and especially the chest/torso just screams 'Mannequin!'.

The head sculpts look great but the POA's look horrible; particularly the diaphragm joint and the hip joints. The prices people will pay for an import figure just because it's an import figure absolutely baffle me. This figure is not worth what They're asking for it. Maybd at half the price.
