I can confirm those LED lights are no good. Bandai sourced some 10+ year old LEDs for these junk accessories.

My favorite is The suit Case Armor it looked the most unique out of the other suits like a prototype for Mark 42, It was just awesome seeing that on screen

I think they went with a darker red because the lighter red they used in earlier figures would turn pink over time.
