The issues on the Onigashima version never bothered me either. He can get in any pose one could want. But yeah. I also prefer the earlier designs and can’t wait untill I get mine. Preordered Nami as well, she looks fantastic.

My only complaint on the Onigashima version is that the knees can’t bend all the way because of the shorts thingys the legs keep on falling off on mine it looks like this new version fixes all of those problems though

It isn’t 😭that’s as much articulation as the bleach figures and this guy doesn’t even have baggy pants. Articulation is still mid and looks like the whole line will have that 90 degree max problem with the new shanks, Ace and Zoro. Sad.

@@timdoe8895 I think shf ace and zoro can bend their knees more than 90 degrees though, but only a slight bit more which is a bit disapointing, especially for zoro since he doesn't even have baggy pants or anything obstructing articulation.

His elbows are single jointed i'm pretty sure. The old luffy had single jointed elbows and they look like the same articulation. Single joints are fine for thin limbs but I don't get why they used them for the legs on almost the entire line. I will say the upcoming figures look much better so I'm excited to try to pick them up. Gotta sell my old luffy and zoro soon.

At first I was gonna pass on this figure since I already have the onigashima raid Luffy, but I’m probably gonna buy it after all. Seems like he has better articulation compared to onigashima raid Luffy. Does anyone know if the faces between both the luffys are compatible with each other? It looks like they are and I don’t see why they won’t be compatible with each other

At 8:38 I have an image showing off one of the faceplates and hands from last years Luffy being compatible with this new one. I don’t put the new faces on last years head but they are all comparable with each other.

I have a question,can the back knee cap parts be swapped with the Wano luffy?,it can come off,so im curious if it can be swapped?

I haven’t tried it but Wano Luffy’s back pants section are fixed in and can’t be removed without pretty much breaking them off. You’d have to be very careful to remove them without damaging.

@@tfnut I did removed mine, just dip them into hot water and take it out with some snippers nicely,it won't break it, it'll soften it up and it'll pop out, the knee cap is fixed on a peg of sorts, similar to this east blue one, you should make a video on it bro

They planned this figure to have the shoulders pop out for the accessory set coming out but if you’re referring to the old one, I’ve never been able to remove those shoulders easily.

It’s more than likely that this will come to those stores but probably a couple months after August in the states. Tamashii was probably referring to how this is out in Japanese stores rn.
