Nostalgia will have many blinded as someone who owns the ToyBiz, it is amazing, however even after opening mine back in August 2022, his joints were superbly degrading and I barely pose my figures. That and his proportions are WAY off, but it’s still a solid figure. Figuarts has more clean look to it, and the articulation we know will last way longer than the ToyBiz. Also if you push the Figuarts, you can get pretty much the same range of motion, so it’s to me, almost the same or similar, though Figuarts is more valuable with hands and webs, while ToyBiz had a stand. That and ToyBiz is crazy expensive compared to the Figuarts nowadays.

I do prefer the swappable hands over the moving fingers. I mean Toybiz tried. They had this figure with movable fingers that where curved and another where the fingers were more straight. It gives that weird fist look when down but Thwips look great. I don’t own any Figuarts Spider-Man figures. I did get a Mafex. The import figures are pretty cool but it’s museum like handling each time. I prefer the toy from Biz and Bro. Great video. I think I’ll watch a third time.

I didnt realise how much it bugged me the way they changed the design of the mask for NWH until they based this figure on it :( im still getting it but why did they change such a perfectly designed mask

Something I noticed some people don't know is that you can rotate the SHF neck joint, this one has a curve, if you point the curve towards the back of the neck it will give you a perfect range to look up

I had a busy life during these movies and I always thought I would be able to pick up a figure of this Spider-Man whenever. I was so upset when no Spider-Man 4 came out and then the figures were no longer on shelves. I ordered this one and I think he is exactly what I wanted this entire time. In the movie, Spider-Man had muscles but he wasn't ripped, like you said in the video. I think I will be very happy with this figure for that reason. I wish it was based on the trilogy movies but I think I will be more than happy with it.

Idk if its just me but there's something with the shape of the head that's throwing me off I think the old movie having the defined shape of the mask over the face shell but I liked the raimi head having a strong jawline for some reason

Jawline for sure. The neck on the SHF comes up right underneath the chin it feels like, whereas the Toybiz's jaw gives the fig a much stronger shape (and better articulation too)

You have to rotate the ball joint on the sh figuarts spiderman so head can look far up don't worry the looking down issue that's the point the neck can make it look down

Y’know you can make the sh figuarts figure look up more if you take the head off, and put it on backwards. Don’t worry about not being able to look down enough though, he looks down just as well. It’s the way the pegs are on their figures, they’ve got this weird curve on the parts connecting the ball. Pretty sure they has the head on the way it is, to prevent gaps, but it isn’t bad at all.
