That Goku fits with Turles he was wearing the "Go" gi in most of the early movies so the saiyan raised on earth Goku works with Turles and Cooler. My favorite is by far Lord Slug, Coolers Revenge & Broly the Legendary Super Saiyann because they had the best soundtracks! they need to work the shoulder pads into the chest that get thinner the further you raise them it would be so easy to do and would remove all the gaps.

I really like how it's based off of the original character designer: Minoru Maeda's original design that appeared in the movie, rather then the modern look of Tullece which removes the bulk and that little touch of his hair being much more twisted, done by Tadoyoshi Yamamuro.

Turles's skin tone was a greyish brown in the movie so while It's not perfect I'm actually impressed with how much Bandai was able to capture that in toy form.

My favourite is Battle of Gods for feeling like the perfect blend between humour and action for DB. As for Turles glad how he came out really well. Aesthetically one of the best Saiyans with contender being Raditz but the shading puts him over the edge. Being able to move arm across chest with the new shoulder pad is great, do agree they should go the Jeice way as well. The accessories is what edge's this figure out for me compared to Raditz.

The first 3 DBZ movies hold a special nostalgic feel for me. I remember getting the vhs box set that had all 3 movies dubbed and watched them multiple times. Sadly, I missed out on this figure and regret it.

I dont think I can pick just one movie as a favorite. I really love the older movies for reasons, they animated some pretty good hand to hand fights at times and the older animation just pleases my eyes. Those old hand to hand fights though went hard. They were fast but had some good choreography. If you blink you will miss some of the hits. Tree of might, World’s Strongest, Deadzone, the Cooler and Lord Slug movies hit me with so much nastalgia.

This is where shf really excels for me. The big beefy characters with nice sculpt, finishes, shading and effect pieces. This character wasn't high on my wishlist but now he is a must have for me. I would love a kaioken x 3 goku where hes jacked af with nice red shading on it.

Fusion Reborn has to be my favorite DBZ movie because it has so many memorable scenes such as Goku's SSJ3 transformation, Gohan ending Frieza in one-hit, and Gogeta's first appearance. Not to mention, Janemba final form has to be one of the coolest designs for a DBZ villain.

I've never cared about Turles much at all, but I think this figure looks like one of the best in the entire line. Those faces are perfect, it drives me nuts we don't have a Goku with faces even half that good.

My favorite Dragon Ball movie animation wise is DBS Broly with all of the various versions of the art style going from Modern Toriyama (Newer Designs) to Old Yammamuro (Classic DBZ look)

I'm definitely loving this figure, even though I've only seen the movie once. I like that he doesn't look like just another clone-ku. Definitely makes me wish they'd do more shading on the skin with general figs. I actually like the shoulder pads on him more than the standard hinges though.

My favorite is Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies, I know it’s essentially an abridged version of the original Dragon Ball anime, but it’s how I was introduced to the franchise as a whole. I just remember being in awe of this movie as a 5 year old kid, I remember it being so different than the other cartoons I was watching at the time.

I love this figure. Everything on mine functions smoothly, the girthiness and weight is really satisfying, and the cape is exactly what I wanted. The knees don't even bother me. But the shoulder pads weren't connected on mine and getting them plugged in was nerve-wracking thinking they're about to break. My only concern is that the soft part of the dress on my Android 21 is starting to purge. I had a soap scum like white film on it when I went to put Tulece on the shelf and now I'm worried the whole cape is going to do the same.

From an animation standpoint, Dragon Ball Super Broly is easily my favourite movie. It is beautiful and has the types of fights that a lot of us *remember* Dragon Ball Z having a lot of. But in terms of story, I have a big soft spot for the Father of Goku special, which kinda counts as a movie. Love Bardock's character (less so everywhere else once they ruined him), love the aesthetic, love the unrelenting portrayal of the Saiyans, and other than the foresight power they give Bardock, the story's pretty great, especially for a prequel. Still hoping we get Bardock's crew in Figuarts form, especially Fasha and Tora. The knees stood out to me instantly, and I usually don't notice that type of thing at a glance. It looks like he's been wearing kneepads while tanning. But everything else about this guy looks cool, and I love that they did the horned hair look and not the lazy "basically Goku" hair Turtles sometimes has. The shoulders though... man, that's a bummer. Really, really knocks this figure down. I dread whenever a character is announced for an SHF and they have that in their design, it's just such a hassle to work with when posing.

The articulation in the shoulder armor is not perfect, but is the best they have done so far. Its better than the Vegeta Scouter's, Ginyu's and Raditz's. As you said, they could have sent us another piece, like Jeice, and I agree with that, but even though I would want this articulation over the other ones. Much more possibilities to pose and its a lot easier to manipulate the arm/shoulder.

Tree of might was good also but about the figure it looks amazing if you pose it and leave it alone but the ugly gaps are a problem hopefully this gets fixed soon since bardock in Dragon ball super uses shoulder pads also

My favorite is Coolers Revenge. I love the dub version because the soundtrack goes so hard. They used licensed music like Drowning pool, American Pearl, Deftones, Dust for life, finger Eleven, breaking point, and Disturbed. I also just love cooler because he is “cooler.” When Goku goes SSJ1 oh my goodness it goes so hard in the dub version. The music, the screaming, its just so beautiful.

I think this guy turned out pretty well. I don’t think the skintone is necessarily too dark, but maybe too brown. It needs a little gray or blue mixed in, but then again, that could be more the lighting of the film and this is how he’s supposed to look in natural light. That Goku. always struck me as too yellow. The Super Hero Goku is better, though wrong gi for ToM. As for favorite movie, objectively it should probably be one of the newer ones as they actually want to tell a complete story while the old ones were both cash grabs and a chance to just do the highest quality animation Toei was capable of for an hour’s worth of content. Movie 13 was really good though with Not-Link, and movie 9 was fun which had Bojack. That one could have been even better if it gave us more of the Vegeta is essentially depressed following Goku’s death, but it’s still fine. I will say, Tree of Might is my favorite from a visual design. I just love the look of that era of DBZ and the film is just gorgeous.

Given that I'm a younger fan, I haven't watched all the old movies (including tree of might) but DBS Broly's soundtrack is perfect, and the animation is perfect. The ragged lines and saturated colors are so reminiscent of Manga colors, which is to my liking

You can actually fit the cross arms in a way that it doesn’t create a gap. You just gotta angle the shoulders right and after they’re on you gotta push them down. None of the paint has been scratched on mine so it should be fine for everyone else.

Don't agree: the shoulder pads are fine, they tried the design of armored broly and that's a step in the right direction. For me, that's plenty, considering all the accesories the figure has. Turles is a great way to start the year for all the S.H. Figuarts collectors.
